Takeshi Yasutoko Aggressive In-Line

DEMO ATHLETES

With new found respect and confidence, Ryan was eager to prove 2004 was no fluke. So he changed into 2005 season ridinfg with style and a list of tricks capable of winning any event he entered. Ryan became a regular on the podium, and for the second straight year won a medal at the X Games. With the newly created NBC Dew Tour, Ryan wanted to use it as a platform to show he could ride consistently against the best in the first true action sports series. And that he did by not only winning one Dew Tour title but sweeping both events he entered, dirt jump and park.

DOB 25 June 1986 Born Hyogo, Kobe City, Japan Height 165 cm Weight 60 kg "If ever there was an example of how little conditioning and strength has to do with success in rollerblading, it is young Takeshi Yasutoko. At only 15, he is the youngest vert skater to medal at the X Games and his success is testament to the importance of technique and confidence over conditioning and strength." Arlo Eisenberg

Takeshi Yasutoko was born June 25, 1986 in Osaka, Japan. Nicknamed the "Japanese Bullet" he followed in the wheel tracks of his parents, professional roller skaters, and older brother, Eito, a fellow inline skating professional.

Takeshi began roller skating when he was only three years old, he moved to inline skating at the age of six. Breaking precedents is a habit with Takeshi, who joined the ASA pro tour at only nine years of age. He was the youngest ever competitor in an X Games competition when at 11 years of age he competed in the 1998 Summer X Games. Skating with his brother, both in and out of competitions, Takeshi has had the best possible start for a pro skater. Given all that he has accomplished in the few years since he has started, there is no doubt he will continue to set precedents and help to revolutionize the sport. Takeshi is famous for being one of the most technically proficient skaters in the profession. While his brother Eito makes the crowds cheer with his high flying acrobatics, Takeshi makes the professionals look on in wonder as he cleanly executes difficult grinds (for example: Alley Oop Topside Acid or Backslide to Alley Oop Topside Soul) and complex combinations. As far as invention goes, he is credited with the 1080 Mac Twist and is known for his flawless 900 Flat Spin. His signature move is the Viking Flip, of which he recently perfected the Double. He is also one of the highest flying skaters ever, regularly winning Big Air competitions. Watching Takeshi is a joy. When you compare him to the skaters who precede or follow him, he stands out as easily to the untrained eye as to the professionals.

DOB 17 July 1983 Born Beenleigh, Australia Lives Greenville, NC Height 178 cm Weight 70 kg Sponsors: Mirraco Bikes, Vans, Monster Energy Drink, Alpinestars, Pro-Tec Helmets, Boost Mobile, Kicker Car Audio Born in Beenleigh, Australia, Ryan watched his idols (Dave Mirra, Mat Hoffman, and Ryan Nyquist) rule the sport of BMX Freestyle from afar. Wanting to compete against the best in the world. Guettler had arrived!

Ryan Guettler BMX Freestyle

With the newly earned hard wear, Ryan will be the man to beat in both park and dirt jump events in the future.

Trevor Ward Skateboard

DOB 28 April 1978 Born Paraburdoo, Australia Lives Torquay Australia Height 183 cm Weight 78kg Sponsors: Premium Skateboards, Dragon, Amourdillo, Evolution Trevor Ward grew up on the beach in a small town called Mandurah in W.A. Australia. He first started skateboarding at the age of 8 when his mum bought him a skateboard instead of the wetsuit he wanted for his birthday. After his parents moved away from the beach to Country Victoria (Shepparton) Trevor’s father built him a ramp where he skated each day. Trevor’s mother was actively involved with the local regions skate committee to raise money for their local skatepark through running organised competitions. Trevor skated many contests over this period almost on a weekly basis and travelled not only the state but the country.

After years of skating Trevor made the decision to move to the USA in 1998. Trevor found himself in Tampa Florida skating with the likes of Mike Frazier, Anthony Furlong and in the great company of SPoT owners Brian Schaefer and Ryan Clements, who to this day he still regards as some of the best people in the world. In the year spent at Tampa Trevor toured up the East Coast of the USA and attended Camp Woodward where he first attended as a glamorous “Dish Dog”. After a trip to Europe to compete on the

European leg of the World Cup of Skateboarding (www.wcsk8.com), Trevor moved out to California to

live with Jesse Fritsch. Jesse and Trevor skated many Amateur

competitions together and were two of the first skaters to do

demonstrations for Red Bull.

Trevor spent the next three years living between Brian Howard’s house in Lacosta, Woodward Pennsylvania,

Woodward West and Sascha Muellers House in Munster

Germany. In this time Trevor progressed his skating whilst

following the tour to gain career high rankings in 2005 and 2007.In 2008

Trevor took a year off due to his wife giving birth to their third daughter

Jada and to pursue business interests.

In 2008 Evolution Sports

Management was founded by Trevor, Legendary surfboard shaper

Stuart Darcy and Businessman Geoff Missen. They have put together a

reputable business that looks after some of Australia’s most talented Action Sports athletes, check out

their website at www.evolutionmanagement.com.au

. Trevor has also been instrumental in the development of the worlds

strongest, lightest and revolutionary skateboard Truck by Theeve

Titanium Truck Company. In this time Trevor has enjoyed skating

Vert, travelling and competing but it has been the road trips, street and

park skating that has helped him push his own skill level along with

making new friends from a different skate generation.

Trev really enjoys his own space

when it comes to skating and has been lucky enough to acquire a 40ft wide and 13ft high vert ramp which

is currently set up at the back of one of his sponsors warehouses, he likes

to just get out there and skate and try what ever comes to his mind with some of his good friends. Along with

this in September 2009 Trevor will be looking to finalize his dream of building a mega ramp in his home town. Who knows where Trev will

take it from here.
