The group’s holding company, KRONO Holding AG, is based in Switzerland. But
production also takes place in France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and the United
States. There are a total of ten plants, which collaborate closely and work around the
clock to get innovative, forward-looking products to market. “We have more than 4,500

its visible black edges and attractive surfaces, SWISSCDF is a real eye-catcher,” says
Mauro Capozzo, CPO of the SWISS KRONO GROUP. “Nearly 250 different decors are
available for the surfaces, featuring a variety of different wood emulations, a wide range of
monocolours, and even metallic effects and fantasy structures to choose from – there are

Structure of SWISSCDF: two to four plies, with the topmost layer consisting of décor paper.
SWISSCDF can be used for many purposes:
- For design-orientated interior finishing: sideboards, open shelves, wall
combinations
- In rooms with high moisture levels (without constant contact with water):
kitchens and bathroom fronts, lockers in sports and wellness facilities, partitions in
sanitary facilities
- In shops: for dressing rooms and top-quality product presentations, as design
elements
- For CNC engraving of lettering, logos and ornaments, which is permitted by the
multiply structure
Amongst other things, this extremely robust board is dimensionally stable, resistant to
scratching and water spray, and flame-resistant. SWISSCDF is therefore excellently
suited for creatively making furniture and commercial structures when surfaces will be
subjected to heavy stresses. Examples can be viewed on the SWISSCDF website.
