TRANSCRIPT
Goalball is a exciting team sport developed for people who are blind or vision impaired but also enjoyed by sighted players. Blindfolded players rely on tactile surfaces and line markers to orient themselves on the court and defend their goal. At the same time, their blindfolded opponents attempt to bowl an audible ball across the court into the goal zone to score points.
Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association welcomes anyone to come and try goalball at the Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville programs. We offer two free trial sessions for anyone who has not previously attended a goalball program.
Note: Players must be an Association member to regularly attend the program.
