Swedes are films that have been recreated and shortened and created on a low

budget. One of the most well known examples of swede films is the film Be Kind

Rewind. Swede films are usually made without editing and one take per scene.

Swede films consist of the main events in the original films, they are kept relatively

short but don’t miss out some of the key parts of the films. It’s essential that this

happens as missing out the main parts of the film make it harder to understand and

much more pointless than what it should be.

• Cardboard or paper cut outs of the actors/actresses and film title

• Short snippets of film recreating original events – comedic

• Bad costumes and sets

• Mick taking of the original film

• “homemade” music – sung by real people or made on keyboards etc.

• Badly made props
