sustainable bio-philic redesign of the Queen Victoria Market

in the heart of Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

•Redesign of subtilised space and transform it into

sustainable amenity spaces for consumers of the

QVM.

•Use of sustainable materials with fair trade

certificates .

•Use of bio-philic theory to create liveability in the

Thesis project for obtaining the degree of Industrial Designer.

The theory is that the double parable allows the tracking of

sun light without needing to move the device. It concentrates

the sun beams on the contaminated water container,

elevating its temperature to over 100 degrees Celsius. The

steam is condensed in the upper wall and recovered as

distilled water, which is recollected in a separate container .
