Created around an impeller, each fan blade represents part of the earth’s biosphere. Melting glaciers in the centre give vital sustenance to diatoms, tiny creatures that live in the ocean and beaches. These essential creatures produce a significant percentage of the world’s oxygen and are in danger as glaciers melt and sea temperatures rise. Ash and lava from volcanoes provide nutrition for soils, farms and forests and are another important part of the life cycle. Every part of the planet is interlinked in some way and contributes to the Earth’s survival. The Earth needs to be nurtured because time is running out: coral reefs are dying around the world; glaciers are melting; carbon dioxide is increasing in our atmosphere and by 2030 it is estimated that there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish. This all presents a threat to our planet and our own survival. The good news is that it’s not too late to make a difference. We can all play our part in making our planet more sustainable and a better place to live. Many small steps by many people can make a big difference to our planet. Are you playing your part?

Our HistoryOur parent company, Elta Fans UK, was established in England in 1972 and is an internationally recognised frontrunner in axial fan and impeller design. The Elta Group was incorporated in 1996 and is now a multinational company present in 4 continents. AMS (Air Movement Solutions) in South Africa and Fantech in Australia and New Zealand (Elta Group Companies) have all established market leading positions in their regions through incorporating Elta Fans axial technologies.

Eltafantech Asia was created in 2006, incorporating the branding of Elta Fans and Fantech to respond to the increasing popularity of the Elta Fans Impeller and Fantech products in Asia. In 2010 with further growth in the Asian market, Eltafantech moved to our current 45,000 sq ft facility in Shah Alam, Kuala Lumpur and, in 2017, rebranded to become Elta Fans Malaysia. From our manufacturing base we serve the local market across Malaysia. And via our network of distribution partners we also supply our range of products into the majority of Southeast Asian countries.

In 2007, Eltafantech’s distributor, Airovient, introduced Elta Fans into India. In 2017, as the market grew further, Elta Fans India was established to expand our mission across Asia under a joint venture with Airovient & Elta Group. With manufacturing and warehousing in Kolkata and offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad, Elta Fans India is establishing a presence in the drive for increasingly sustainable buildings in the region.

Elta Fans continues to seek and develop new technologies in sustainable air movement across Asia, aiming to collaborate with like minded people and organisations which share similar visions and goals for the future of smart cities.

Eltafantech moves to new facility in Shah Alam

The installation of a new Nodi flanging machine in the Kuala Lumpur facility met the requirements of OEM customers around the world. Elta Fans is certified to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System
