Survivor® 9 LED

Construction:

Housing - Low profile marine-grade, extruded aluminum housing with low-copper, die cast aluminum end caps and stainless steel mounting brackets. Designed for indoor and outdoor wall and ceiling mount applications as well as light to medium security areas. Mounting hardware by others.

Geartray - Gear tray installs as complete elec-trical unit secured with a spring clip assembly fully accessible from below ceiling. White finish for even illumination.

Shielding - Vandal and impact resistant .156” thick polycarbonate prismatic satine lens (IK10, NRTL, & IP66 wet label certificate ratings).

One piece Silicone Gasketing - Fixture lens and end plates are fully gasketed (IP66 rated) for weather proofing, dust, and insect control.

Hinged Lens Door - Door hinges down on sur-face and rigid stem mount versions for easy ac-cess to lamp(s) and driver. Hinges are replaced with safety cable for Vertical Wall Mounting. After door is open, hinges can be released via a quick disconnect mechanism for easy mount-ing of housing. Door seals securely with two (2) vandal resistant stainless steel captive fasteners when TR option is selected.

Feed Location - (not required for RS Mounting.) For Surface Mount (F), specify Left (LF) or Right (RF) side for power feed entry. For Vertical Wall Mount (V), Feed Loca-tion is availalable with Vertical Feed (VF) or Back Feed (BF). For mounting over junction box, please specify (BF) option and see page 3 for details. Consult factory for middle fixtures to be con-nected in a linear row with nipple connector.

Nipple Connector - (not shown) 3/8” IP nipple connector for water tight connection between luminaires in a run. Two connectors required per connection. Not required when MT is used.

Electrical/Performance:

LED Light Engine - Brand-name mid-power LEDs create a high efficiency LED light engine able to provide a lumen maintenance of 96% at 25,000 hours and 93% at 60,000 hours for 1B light engine and 96% at 25,000 hours and 93% at 60,000 hours for 2B light engine @ 25ºC per TM-21 reports. Reported L70 greater than 60,000 hours.

Delivered Lumens - Due to LED manufacturer’s tolerances the listed output has a ±5% tolerance. For outputs based on different shielding or CCT please see photometry section at the end.

CCT - Available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K, tolerance within a 3-step MacAdam el-lipse.

CRI - Min. 90.

All Drivers - High efficiency, constant current, soft start, Electronic Class 2 with a PFC > 0.90. For more detailed information on the available drivers please see page 7.

Sensors - Selux offers a variety of integral sensor options. For details and specifications, please refer to page 9.

Thermal Performance:

Ambient Operating Temperature - Luminaires suitable for maximum ambient temperature of 35° C (95° F) for all drivers.

Luminaires are suitable for minimum ambient temperatures of:-40ºC (-40ºF) for DIM, DM, DML, and DMD drivers.-20ºC (-4ºF) for SR drivers.0ºC (32ºF) for DC2, DC3, and DCE drivers.

Luminaire Finish:

Powder Coat - All Selux luminaries are finished in high quality polyester powder coating in our Tiger Drylac certified facility and are tested in accordance with test specifications for coatings from ASTM and PCI.

All products undergo a five stage intensive pre-treatment process where product is thoroughly cleaned, phosphated, and sealed. Selux powder coated products provide excellent salt and hu-midity resistance as well as ultra violet resistance for color retention.

Standard interior colors are White (WH), Black (BK), Bronze (BZ), and Silver (SV). Selux premium colors (SP) are available, please specify from your Selux color selection guide.

Warranty:

5 Year Limited LED Luminaire Warranty - Selux offers a 5 Year Limited Warranty to the original purchaser that the Survivor® 9 LED’s assem-bly shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for up to five (5) years from date of shipment. This limited warranty covers the LED driver and LED light engine when installed ac-cording to Selux instructions and operated within the Ambient Temperature. For additional details and exclusions, see “Selux Terms and Condition of Sale.”
