Activated Charcoal (Activated Carbon) – Even thoughtdrugs uses activated carbon to neutralize poisons. It’s anremedy for arsenic, mercury, pesticides, strychnine, warfarin, hemlock, E. Coli, gasoline, and over 4,000 chemicals, drugs, plant and microbic toxins, allergens, venoms, and wastes. Itmay be used for venomous snake and spider bites. Thus, taking it on any extended trip in the wild is extremely wise. It’sto be dampened before being taken internally (about oneteaspoon) and placed directly onto the wounds dampened.Remember that activated charcoal is much less effectiveagainst alcohols and cyanide.

Bentonite Clay – Following exposure to snake bites, activatedcharcoal can only be helpful for the first four hours. Followingthat, bentonite clay ought to be applied on to the wound site, because it has an interesting ability to draw out toxins. Theinternet is riddled with people who have saw having hadwonderful results with bentonite clay following snake andspider bites, but of course, results will vary with every case.Buy it now, because it’s low cost, but it will be difficult toobtain.

Cayenne – Besides improving the flavor of a range of dishes, cayenne could be a miraculous herbal medicine. It can stop aheart attack within minutes, and was historically applied toopen wounds for another purpose. Cayenne seems to beready to stop bleeding shortly when applied locally. it’s beentheorized that it does so by shrinking blood vessels, howeverthere are no official studies so far on this use. Old and newtherapist books claim that cayenne can stop the bleeding inbelow ten seconds. It doesn’t produce a burning sensation asmost people would assume. Ten seconds is quicker than anypharmaceutical, thus cayenne ought to be extensively studiedfor its life-saving applications. In the meantime, it’s a greatitem to include in any first aid kit.
