What is GPtents?

GPtents is a tent hotel that solves accom-modation problem. Each year, thousands of destinations all around Europe have sold out their accommodation capacity during big events, such as MotoGP or For-mula 1.

GPtents solve this problem by simply providing accommodation in pre-erect-ed tents. We offer hundreds of spacious tents, forming an organized tent village. You can enjoy comfortability similar to usual hotel – tents are pre‐built, ready for your arrival. They are equipped with com-fortable mattresses, pillows, blankets, towels, soap and tent locks with keys. GPtents team of young devoted people takes care of everything.

GPtents AccommodationLocation:

GPtents is located on Camping La Estan-ca, which is one of the biggest and closest campings to the Circuit Motorland Aragon. The camping is serviced with clean toilets, hot showers and an amazing restaurant, where you can enjoy evening with great wine and amazing food. You can get to the circuit just in 10 minutes on foot. Leave your car in the camping and enjoy the par-ty!

Last seasonLast year, we started GPtents project in Spielberg on the Red Bull Ring for three big events - Formula 1, MotoGP and The Rolling Stones concert.

ReferencesWe accommodated more than 500 people and received 9,6 stars for customer ser-vice. We will make sure that you will fully enjoy your racing weekend.

Breakfast and snacksEvery morning, you will start your day with great cup of coffee or tea and wonderful breakfast (from 7 until 9 o`clock) – free of charge. We will have a big communal tent at your disposal during the whole day. You can eat your own meal there or buy some refreshments at the reception, such as beer, water, coffee, tea, toasts and other little snacks.

Wi-fi and electricityDepending on the availibility, you can have the electricity directly in your tent, just ask for it at the reception. There should be a wifi available for the guests, but the signal might not be very strong if used by many people.

Check-in and check-outCheck-in from 9 am untill 9 pm, check-out until 10 am. If you are coming later for the check-in, please inform the booking man-ager as soon as you can, we will try to meet your needs.

After entering the Camping La Estanca, stop by the reception. You will need your booking reference number in order to check in. You will fill in the accommoda-tion form, make the payment in cash (cred-it cards are not accepted) and receive GPtents bracelets and keys from your tent.

If you need anything during your stay just ask any gptents staff.In order to check out, stop by again at the reception. A member of GPtents staff will come with you to check the tent and col-lect the keys.

How to get to the circuitIt is easy and quick – you will just follow the pavement marked in the map and af-ter approximately 10 minutes walking, you will reach the circuit.

Clinging to the river Guadalope, Alcañiz is one of the main cities of the kingdom of Aragón. Its fascinating historic-artis-tic heritage begins in Plaza de España, a beautiful collection of medieval buildings where you will find the Exchange and the city hall, a masterpiece of Renaissance ar-chitecture.

The neighbouring former collegiate church of Santa María la Mayor, begun in 1736, is a large temple which combines baroque features and Mudejar influences. There are still some surviving military construc-tions, such as the castle of Los Calatravos, on the low ridge of Pui Pinos, currently converted into a Parador de Turismo hotel. Outstanding is its Gothic keep,

Alcañiz is famous for its long pork sau-sages and partridge in brine, as well as its cheeses. From its cakes and pastries we could highlight the so-called “breasts of Santa Águeda”.

Transport

If you are planning to drive from Ma-drid-Barajas International Airport you will need to take the A2 towards Zaragoza . You will then need to take exit 311A . Take the A-68 towards Alcaniz and the circuit will be sign posted from here.

From Barcelona take the A-2 followed by the AP-2 and on to the AP-7. You will then need to take exit E-90/AP-2 and follow the road towards Zaragoza. When you come to the N-211, turn left here and follow the

signs to Alcañiz. It will then be signposted to the circuit.

From Zaragoza, take the A-68 followed by the N232. The circuit will be signposted from Alcañiz.

The nearest train station is 28 km away in the town of Caspe and it can be reached from any major Spanish city. Train times can be searched at www.renfe.com. From here you can take a bus to Alcañiz.

HintsThe early bird catches the worm: Please note that you should expect extensive traf-fic volumes at the time of your arrival. We therefore recommend trying to arrive as early as possible.

The more the merrier! Whereas Marc Márquez & Co. are always alone on their bikes when they blast around the Circuit

Motorland Aragon, we recommend filling every seat in your car. This will reduce traf-fic congestion and allow everybody to get to the event faster.

Traffic reports on radio stations provide regular updates on the current traffic sit-uation on RNE1 or on RAC1 in Catalunya.

How To Get to the Circuit

Half a century has passed since Joaquín Ripollés promoted the first City of Alcañiz Grand Prix (1965), held on the unforgetta-ble urban circuit known as Circuito Gua-dalope. The streets were the venue of exciting races that turned the city into a pioneering organiser of sports events. In a short period of time, Alcañiz became an emblematic benchmark in the history of urban circuits.

In the early 1990s, the growing demand for safety measures given the increasing-ly powerful vehicles, limited the activity of the urban circuit. It became difficult for the organization to stage top level events, and this is how the idea of building a mo-torsports complex to continue with this

intense relationship between Alcañiz and the sport came up.

The project began to take shape thanks to the citizens’ enthusiasm and to the pres-tige gained during the mythic times at Gua-dalope, which hosted its last race in 2003. To develop the project, MotorLand Aragón counted on a team of highly-experienced and well-known experts. The project finally set-off in 2006 with the first competitions on the karting and off-road racetracks. In 2009, with the opening of the road racing circuit, the motorsports complex was ac-complished, with a clear will to become a motor of progress for the whole region.

Aragon has a so called continental Med-iterranean climate, with cold winters and hot and dry summers. In September the highest temperatures reach 20°C, but you should also be ready for the minimum of 10°C.

But don’t worry, thanks to GPtents thick matresses and bedsheets you will get all comfort you need.

Spain uses the Central European Time, CET, which is GMT+1.

In Spain you can usually pay by credit card in shops and for various services.

Anyway, always check for the appropriate symbol on the door or till, first. Some plac-es even in big cities still only accept cash.

The two most popular cards here are prob-ably VISA and Mastercard.

In Spain the power sockets are of type F. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz, identical to the most of European countries.Type F: This socket also works with plug C and E. Your need for a power plug adapter depends on the power plugs used in your own country.
