Theyprovide services which benefit the residentsand other travelers which promote prideand value. People need to have a reason tostop in and frequent a town. Right now theyall just drive right through Knox, outside ofthe township tavern, thatcher park, andmaybe a few farms why should they stop.It's sad. If folks have homebased businesses, new or old, they shouldbe able to operate them without the rest ofthe town saying whether or not they canmake a living and where. That response implies (if you lookno further than the question itself), that therespondent is in favor of more Towninvolvement without limitation. That'sstatistics, a sneaky way to manipulate inputto get desired results. Each idea listedunder those questions deserved to beconsidered on their own merit. They weregrouped in a fashion that made sense andwere worded very concisely and clearly.The average taxpayer should experience nodifficulty in understanding what eachproposed idea means in terms of cost andpotential change. I feel the survey wouldhave been more open minded if questions10, 17, 23 and 30 were removed entirelyallowing the respondednt toi weigh in oneach individual idea presented.
