(Chain shop Shwapno)1. Introduction of Shwapno: Shwapno super store is a Dhaka-based retail chain shop. It was established in 2008. It started its business with 39 branches around Dhaka. It wants to provide the superstore facility to all people ranging from high level to low level. It is the largest retailer, both by local sales and by domestic market share, and the largest retailer in Dhaka leaving behind Agora, PQS, Meena Bazaar, Nandan Mega Shop, Pacific, Pick and Pay, Etc, Shop & Saveand others. Shwapno has its own firm, so it can provide fresh food to the people. It provides products with lower price than market price. Originally specializing in food, it has moved into areas such as clothes, consumerelectronics, and consumer financial services, selling and renting DVDs, compact discs and consumer telecom accessories. Shwapno super store is an enterprise that combines industry and trade, mainly engages in retailing the quality products at the most lowest price in the market.2. Vision: To ensure pleasant shopping experience, fair price and weight to both farmers and consumers. 3. Mission: To expand its business to district level especially to every corner of Bangladesh so as to enable people to have modern shopping experience.4. Form of organization: Shwapno is a sister concern of ACI group. It is a private limited business organization.

5. Source of capital: Its source of capital is ACI group. 6. Basic business: Its basic business is consumer food products & stationary items.7. Recruitment process: Shwapno follows the following process in the recruitment of its employees-

All candidates should have passed SSC

Inexperienced candidates need to sit for written tests and to face viva voce

Experienced persons will face the viva voce only.

All the above process is conducted by Human Resource Department.

8. Compensation of the employees: Experienced employees receive Tk. 6000-8000 & inexperienced employees receive Tk. 3000-5000 per month. Employees of manager level receive higher compensation.

9. Management process of inventory: Shwapno keeps its inventory information using software SPA.10. Purchase process of inventory: It purchases inventory in both cash & credit.11. Number of outlets: It has total 41 outlets. Among them 39 are in Dhaka and the rest two in Chittagong. 12. Basic promotional activities: Shwapno uses print media, electronic media and billboard writing for its promotional activities. 13. Main purpose of the company: Main purpose of the company is to keep people of all levels under the superstore facility.14. Companys own products: All consumer products of ACI group are their own products. Besides it supplies fresh vegetables from its own farm.

15. Target market: Its target market is all people ranging from high level to low level.
