volunteer attorney 3. We have a Reference Attorney who assists SRNs with their paperwork for

9. Our library is the largest law library in the state and we provide public patrons with an excellent print collection in addition to university databases and Internet access

10. We have held legal research training classes for local public librarians. I think this indirectly benefits self-represented litigants.

resources that contain forms (such as West's Legal Forms) that they can use.

14. Co-sponsor a self represented divorce class 15. Free printing of forms when they apply for a fee waiver. 16. Our court system has a great self-help center that provides telephone and

web assistance in family law. There is also web-only assistance for civil appeals, and a probate site is about to go live. None of this is directly provided by the library, however.

17. A2J programs in public library meeting rooms, coordinated and moderated by county law librarians, with attorney presenters.

Other: 1. Monday - Thursday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm 2. M-F, 9-12 & 1-5 3. Calls and emails come in 24/7. Student volunteers schedule their hours to

respond top calls and their hours vary each semester. The law student coordinator checks each evening to make sure that no one goes more than 24 hours without a call back. I cover the phone during school breaks and usually return calls every afternoon.
