You can associate more with a band because there is more people so there's more chance that there is one like you or that's interested in the samethings as you.

There could be more information on that specific person rather than little information on each one

I prefer bands to solo artists

I associate indie rock more as bands rather than single people because they make their own music with instruments and generally people can't playseveral instruments at one time!!I prefer indie rock bands

I selected band but I don't have a preference really. It doesn't matter to me if the performer is a solo artist or part of a band, it's the music I careabout and if I like the artist on the cover I would be interested in reading the magazine.

There are more bands in the indie rock industry than solo artists. Personally I think bands appeal more to teenagers, right through from the strokes tothe stone roses.
