• To train Medical Doctors (MD) and Community Health Officers (CHO) to perform basic life saving surgery at district hospital level
• By Using the concept of task-shifting in surgery widely used in East-Africa
• In cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation and a strong network of partner hospitals
