Clearvision overview

Clearvision Lighting has a 15-year pedigree in ergonomic and environmental lighting. We have been at the leading edge of the industry in adopting new technology and design techniques to improve workplaces and reduce energy consumption.

Our appreciation of daylight has been apparent from the beginning. One of our first innovations in ergonomics was Virtual Daylight® in 1997, which has since been copied by many other companies.

We focus on lens technologies (some patented) that are central to our most successful products. We find that they’re an effective means of optimising design between efficiency, glare control and useful light distribution.

Clearvision is a project lighting company with a focus on customer applications for our products. We therefore provide a full technical support service–including Dialux (plug-in available), AutoCAD, emergency test and control systems.

The Calyx is a direct/indirect suspended luminaire suited to office

lighting, education and public space as it combines uniform light

distribution with high efficiency.

The fitting has two visual options – the standard neutral diffuse M45

or the more striking fisheye Q45 lens. It is standard as a twin lamp

luminaire in 2x28W or 2x54W T5 fluorescent, but is also available in

1x54W or 3x28W for higher spaces.

The Calyx has a quality appearance exemplified by the machined and

anodised aluminium ends. Maintenance is also simple, an easy opening

catch on the lens allows it to swing open for relamping or cleaning.

Calyx M45 2 x 28W

The Chiara is a surface mounted ceiling luminaire with a simple combination of attractive appearance and high efficiency. The anodised aluminium end caps work well with the curved lens optics to provide crisp and well balanced luminance across the working plane, walls and ceiling.

Using high efficiency T5 lamps with good output ratios (up to 72%) will provide a good balance between high efficiency and a well lit space. The Chiara is also a practical luminaire that is easy to maintain (e.g. cleaning and relamping) and with low overall cost of ownership.

The Zenon is a slim line linear direct/indirect luminaire with a design optimised

around T5 lamps. The optics are Clearvision proprietary HTX lenses, which

provide good glare control, light transmission and spread. The Zenon is suited

to a variety of applications including corridors and circulation space, some

types of workspace, storage, utility and amenity areas.

The spine of the Zenon is made from powder coated steel and houses the

electronic ballast and inverter (on the emergency option). The design is

deliberately minimalist with lens retention via polypropylene shootbolts through

holes in the steel end plate. The Zenon combines good use of materials with

simple form, inevitably emitting a even distribution of light from ceiling to floor.

to classrooms, corridors, hospitals and similar areas. Ideal

for space that needs a crisp, clean, robust fitting but does not

The Inca is a ceiling mounted fitting suited to laboratories,

clean manufacturing, healthcare and general work areas which

require an IP54 rating. The sealed frame has no visible fixings,

allowing easy wipe down and minimising the opportunity for dirt

to build up.

VIRTUAL DAYLIGHT ®

The Cosmo is available in two different versions - the Silver

and Up. Surface or suspended, (via optional suspension kit) the

luminaires are non-corrosive IP65 and impact IK08 rated.

The Cosmo Silver has a metalised polycarbonate body and

double parabolic aluminium louvre. This allows the Cosmo Silver

to be specified for areas requiring a more highly finished product.

The Cosmo UP foregoes the louvre in favour of a translucent

polycarbonate body* allowing some uplight. Snap-in fixing clips

are supplied to allow surface mounting of the luminaire, whilst still

retaining its integrity. The Cosmo can also be installed without

opening using the IP65 wiring gland option (-IPG).

The Marmo is a non-corrosive IP65 fitting with polycarbonate

body (grey) and lens. The polyester moulded lens gives

the luminaire durability and resistance to difficult working

conditions. Snap-on stainless steel fixing clips are used to

attach the lens to the luminaire body to alow easy access.

The Vega is constructed from silver anodised extruded

aluminium. The luminaire utilises the Optika LP lens for

downlight (or optional Q45/Q42 Fisheye lenses) and is open

above for uplight. Supplied complete with 2-point adjustable

stainless steel wire suspension kit. Also available with double

parabolic micro aluminium louvre.

Mezzo

Matrix

The Mezzo is a ceiling mounted luminaire that can

also be suspended (via optional kit), providing a

halo of light when surface mounted. Available in two

lengths of 600mm or 1200mm.

The Matrix is a low profile, surface or suspended

linear luminaire, suitable for offices, classrooms

etc. Light control is via a single high purity specular

aluminium louvre while the body is manufactured

from sheet steel and finished in silver as standard or

white as an option.


VIRTUAL DAYLIGHT ®

BU

The BU is a range of universal, surface mounted

batten luminaires. Available in a range of lengths, the

compact body is formed from mild steel and powder

coated white. Single and twin lamp versions.
