Station Metadata

IGNSS – Sydney, December 2016

• Parsing and vetting challenges

• Metadata needed in multiple formats

• Managing files is a chore

• No facilitation of machine-to-machine exchange

• Station metadata is currently stored in text based “static” log files.

Advantages and Changes.

• Improved data validation and quality checking.

• RINEX headers validated against our database.

• Multi-GNSS data QC’d using G-NUT/ANUBIS.

• Reduced latency.

• Improved accessibility of our data.

Changes

• All data will now be gzipped rather than UNIX compressed.

• No FTP access.
