1. What are the math needs of the students? What are the needs of the intervention teachers? (Content, Pedagogy, etc.)

2. What intervention materials are already in use? Are they effective? Are ALL intervention teachers using the same materials? Is there intervention support in the adopted materials?

3. Is it affordable? Is the intervention program really needed and will it fill in the gaps of the current resources?

4. What are the technology requirements of the program? What kinds of training will teachers need? Will teachers be able to effectively trouble shoot?

5. Are the intervention materials aligned to California State standards at-grade-level? Also, are lessons and/or exercises in the program backward, and forward, mapped to vital standards below and above grade level?

6. Is there a correlation of the intervention materials to the core textbook materials? Is the program a stand alone or can it be incorporated into another program?

7. Will the embedded assessments provide data that clearly shows the progress of students and can be used by teachers to inform their instruction?
