1. UnderstandyourroleasSupporterYou are part of an online learning community and play a leading role in making the course a success for everyone involved. As a Supporter you are asked to support teams by giving them feedbackontheirwork.

2.YourteamsThe teams that you are expected to work with are the teams that you follow. By default, you are following 3 teams when the course starts. During the course you can decide to follow additional teams or change the ones you were assigned to. Your essential tasks as Supporterare:

3.Howtoaccomplishyourtasks:a.WheredoIfindtheteamsIfollow?On the left side of your Home page you will find a link Following. Click on the link to open a pagewithanoverviewofyourteams.ClickonanyTeamimagetovisittheteamsteampage.

b.HowdoIcommentonmyteamsdrafts?Beginning with course phase 1 the teams publish drafts of their work regularly. These drafts appear on their team pages, ready for you to comment. Post a comment in the comment threadatthebottomofanydraft.c.HowdoIevaluateasubmission?After the end of each course phase you will be able to evaluate the final work of your teams and assess their achievements. You will be presented with a selection of 3 teams to evaluate as soon as you log back into the course platform. View and evaluate the final submissions of these teams. Just click on the Evaluate Button and you will see an evaluation form. Evaluatingthefinalsubmissionsofyourteamswillplayanimportantpartintheirsuccess.d.HowdoIengagewiththecommunity?In the Forum we will have open discussion threads across all relevant course topics. Browse the Forum regularly and participate on any of our discussion boards at any time. Get in touch with mentors, tutors, and all other participants. If you feel like starting a discussion yourself, justclickoncreateatopic.e.WheredoIfindotherteamstofollow?In Discovery/Explore and Discovery/Teams you can browse through the whole community andfindteamsofyourinteresttofollow.f.HowdoIfollow/unfollowateam?On the team page you will find a Follow button underneath the team members user thumbnails. When you click on it, it will change its appearance into a Following state. Clickingthebuttonasecondtimewillmakeyouunfollowtheteamagain.Teams you follow will appear in your personal Following section on your own Profile page. Visit this page often. It will show you whether one of your teams has posted an update of their work.
