Transportation 1) Daegu Airport There are direct flights to Daegu from some Asian cities. (CHINA, TAIWAN, JAPAN)

2) From Kimhae (Busan) Airport to Daegu a. by Bus There is a direct Limousine bus from Kimhae to Dong Daegu. It will take 1 hr & 20 min(US$ 7~10). b. by Train If there are no buses available, go to Gupo railroad station (via Taxi, 15 min, $10). There are many trains to Dong Daegu station (US$ 10, 1 hour ). There are 1-3 trains per hour from 05:28 to 21:59

3) From Incheon (Seoul) Airport to Daegu a. by Airplane There are only 2 flights (Korean Air) a day, which departing on 08:00 & 19:30 from Incheon to Daegu. It will take 1 hour (US$ 80). This is the most convenient one, because the Daegu airport is located near downtown. KAL : www.koreanair.com

b. by Train c-1. There is a direct train called ‘KTX’ (super express train) to Dong Daegu station from Incheon airport. There are total 7 trains a day from 06:55 to 20:38 (travel time about 3 hrs, cost : US$ 50~55) c-2. There is an express subway (US$ 8, 40~50 min) to Seoul railway station. (05:20~21:45) Then please take ‘KTX’ (super express train) to Dong Daegu station There are 2-3 KTX trains per hour from 05:15 to 23:00 (travel time about 2 hrs, cost : US$ 35~45) c. by Bus There is a direct Limousine bus from Incheon airport to Dong Daegu from 6:50 to 22:30 at the interval of every 30 minutes. (Be aware that sometime it drops by Gumi or Kimcheon city before Dong Daegu, Dong Daegu is final destination of the Bus anyway) The bus is the most useful way to get to Daegu. It will take more than 4 hours (US$ 35~40).

When you arrive in Dong Daegu, you can see lots of Taxis waiting in the airport and railroad or bus station. There are 2 kinds of Taxis. Black color is a bigger and expensive one (2 times expensive). Other colors are normal one. You can reach from airport or railroad (bus) station to your Hotel with less than US$10.
