Dear Pastor/Parish Administrator, Soon your parish will take up a collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC). As Pope Francis reminds us, “Communication has the power to build bridges, to enable encounter and inclusion, and thus to enrich society” (World Communications Day Message, 2016). By taking up this collection, your parish is helping to do just that. Your donation will help the Church spread the gospel message locally, nationally, and even internationally. With your help, bridges are built, people feel included, and society is enriched. Your support of the CCC provided the initial funding for websites that support marriage. ese websites continue to provide culturally relevant resources for couples in all stages of their journey, from dating and engagement to marriage and raising a family. ere, couples can find blogs, articles, and tips to support and encourage them to lead lives that are faith filled. Check out the websites at www.foryourmarriage.org and www.portumatrimonio.org. And remember, 50 percent of funds collected remain in your diocese to support local communications projects. e most effective thing you can do to promote the collection is to mention it at Mass. A parish appeal that you can read at Mass and bulletin announcements are available in this mailer. Additional resources, including a bulletin insert, print ads, and a social media tool kit, are available online at www.usccb.org/ccc/collection. Dear Pastor/Parish Administrator,

Soon your parish will take up a collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC).

These websites continue to provide culturally relevant resources for couples in all stages of their journey, from dating and engagement to marriage and raising a family. There, couples can find blogs, articles, and tips to support and encourage them to lead lives that are faith filled. Check out the websites at www.foryourmarriage.org and www.portumatrimonio.org.

And remember, 50 percent of funds collected remain in your diocese to support local communications projects.

The most effective thing you can do to promote the collection is to mention it at Mass. A parish appeal that you can read at Mass and bulletin announcements are available in this mailer. Additional resources, including a bulletin insert, print ads, and a social media tool kit, are available online at www.usccb.org/ccc/collection. If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected] or at 202-541-3346.

Thank you for your continued support of this collection.

Gratefully in Christ,

Bevin Kennedy Assistant Director, Promotions, Office of National Collections
