Our in house calibra on lab offers fast, efficient and economical Repair, Refurbishment, Recalibra on and Recer fica on of Oilfield and Industrial Instrumenta on. Commonly required spares are held in stock to ensure we get the repaired goods to our customers as quickly as possible.

We con nually review our product and service por olio to ensure we con nue to meet the demands of an ever changing marketplace. We are happy to quote customers on an ad‐hoc as‐required basis and we can also offer procurement agreements. Midcontinent are rental distributor for the HAGGARD MUD DOG ID WIPER.

The MUD DOG Wiper will do your dirty work for you while tripping drill pipe, keeping the mud in the well bore instead of on the rig floor and racking area.

Mud saved with the MUD DOG wiper is estimated to be 0.4 barrels per 1000’ of pipe pulled from the well bore. Thixotropic properties of the mud and pipe size govern the amount of mud being saved.

MORSE STARRETT

IMPACT CUTTERS The original portable tools invented in 1928 by Morse-Starrett to cut wire rope. Actuated by striking with a hammer, they are easy to operate and give superior performance without jamming. They are precision-engineered to deliver a clean cut without affecting the original roundness of the wire rope. The blades and dies are made of the finest tool steel available, heat-treated, and ground to close tolerances. MANUAL CUTTERS These self-contained hydraulic cutters are precision engineered tools de-signed to give a clean cut with minimum effort. Just pump the handle, no outside power is required. Able to be easily carried, these models are fa-vourites of contractors, rigging lofts and elevator repairmen, and are rec-ommended by wire rope manufacturers worldwide. All three models will operate under water with special factory modifications. Suitable for wire sizes up to 1-3/4”. POWER OPERATED These models can be activated by any electric, gasoline, hand, battery or air operated hydraulic pump capable of developing 10,000 p.s.i. and hav-ing free flow return through the pressure line. The pumps are then hose-connected to the Hydrashear body. RE-BAR, CHAIN, STRAND AND BOLT CUTTERS Convenient to use at any angle and weighing less than 12 lbs, the Model S can be activated by any electric, gasoline, hand, battery or air operated hydraulic pump capable of developing 10,000 PSI and having a free flow return through the pressure line. The front blade can be adjusted to prop-er cutting clearance after sharpening, and the back blade is fixed.

PLUG VALVE BACK SAVER

Midcontinent are agents for BACK SAVER, the new tool for easy and safe transportation, in-stallation and handling of Plug Valves.

Main Product features are as follows: Designed for easy mounting on Plug Valves, the Back Saver can be left on while in use

and fits Anson, FMC and SPM Valves amongst other makes. Facilitates opening and closing of valves. If the valve is stuck, a leverage bar can be in-

serted diagonally between the handles to help open and close the plug valve. When turned to closed position, the valve can easily and safely be transported. Greasy and slippery Plug Valves can weigh more than 40 KG and using the Plug Valve

SPILL CONTROL We handle an extensive range of spill control products which includes ab-sorbents, spill kits, drain protection and drum storage products. ABSORBENTS Absorbents are available in three grades: —Maintenance, oil or chemical. Maintenance are recommended for everyday flu-ids and cope with oils, fuels, solvents, cutting fluids, milk acids and alkalis, water and even foodstuffs such as milk and wine. -Oil Only. Used to separate oil (or fuels) from water. They readily absorb all oils and fuels but don’t touch the water. -Chemical. These will absorb virtually everything. Absorbents are available in various styles including Pads, Rolls, Socks and Pillows. SPILL KITS If there’s a need to keep a collection of absorbents in one location, go for a spill kit. There’s a spill kit for any size of spill from 10 – 900 litres. Spill kits are packed in a variety of bright yellow containers for easy identification. DRAIN PROTECTION An integral part of spill control. Use in an emergency to supplement absorbents and spill kits. These include Drain Covers, Clay Drain Mats, Drum Plugs, Polyure-thane Drain Covers and Spill Barrier. BIO-REMEDIATION These products function by eating oils and fuels and are available for various ap-plications. DRUM STORAGE Essential to spill control, drum storage products comply with the Oil Storage Reg-ulations and products are available for Steel and Polyethylene Drum and IBC stor-age.
