What is Reader Shop?

• Reader Shop works in partnership with the UK’s leading publishers of consumer magazines and newspapers to enable readers to buy highly targeted products from the magazines own shop. Our current publisher partners include:

• Our shops sell products from hundreds of suppliers direct to thousands of affluent magazine and newspaper readers.

• Featured products from the shop are advertised and promoted by Reader Shop in each edition of the magazine to generate sales and awareness for our suppliers.

• Suppliers receive an order from the shop and dispatch direct to the reader.

How Does it Work?

Products selected and trading terms agreed

Supplier uses online Supplier Area to upload selected products and join Reader Shop

Reader places an order online or by phone

Supplier receives order email and confirms receipt via link provided

Delivery Note attachment printed and sent with goods direct to reader

Supplier invoices Reader Shop less the agreed trade discount

Supplier paid via BACS 30 days after invoice received.

Pricing and Product Strategy

•Pricing of the products in the shop are based on our suppliers suggested retail price.

•Customers must not be able to be able to buy the same product cheaper on your own website.

•Any products selected by Reader Shop buyers will be expected to be the very best examples of the sector and competitively priced.

The Cost to Our Supplier Partners

•There is a one off supplier set up fee of £99 to prepare supplier images and text for the magazine and shop. Suppliers can then edit and update selected products whenever is convenient.

•Our 1000’s of ABC1 readers can then discover and buy your products in the shop at no cost until a sale is made.

•In the example below you can see how it works for a supplier.
