logo colour andminimum sizes

Colour 

 The main use of the identity is black on white,or white out of black. However, it can be usedwhite out of an appropriate solid colour.

1. Black and white version.

2. Reversed-out version.

Minimum size

3. The minimum size for reproduction of theGovernment Procurement Service identity is52mm and 35mm for the stacked version.

 The minimum size for online use should beno less than 145 pixels wide for a standard1024 x 768 browser window.

For suppliers applying the logo to your ownmarketing materials, choose from the positiveblack or reversed-out version of the logoto ensure maximum legibility and standoutof the brand.

Examples of use across tints of a selection of

our colour palette are shown below, basic ruleis black on white or light flat tints, or white outof dark and strong colours to result in maximumstand-out.

Identity exclusionzone

For maximum impact, the identity should alwaysbe used prominently and legibly as illustratedin ‘Design and layout’ on the following page. The exclusion zone ensures that the logotypeis not compromised by other elements.

 The exclusion zone is a distance equivalent tothe height of the capital ‘G’ all the way aroundthe identity. Whenever possible, leave morespace around the logo than the exclusion zone.

Design and layout When using the logo to endorse your marketing

materials, always aim to ensure maximum

legibility.

Position

 The preference for the Government Procurement

Service logo is top left or bottom left where

possible, but can be positioned right if used

appropriately with the exclusion zones and sizing

guides. It can also be reversed white-out of

appropriate backgounds.
