And, lastly, the BLUE MIX:

• 1 cup dark blue (vanilla flavored)

candy wafers• 3 tbs. vegetable oil• 3/4 cup white cake mix• 4-5 cups rice Chex cereal• 1/2 cup powdered sugar

OH! And for the TOPPINGS:

• Red and Blue M&M’s

Hmm, Let’s see..“DIRECTIONS”..

RED MIX:• 1 cup red (vanilla flavored) candy wafers• 3 tbs. vegetable oil• 3/4 cup strawberry cake mix• 4-5 cups rice Chex cereal• 1/2 cup powdered sugar

WHITE MIX:• 1 cup white (vanilla flavored) candy wafers• 3 tbs. vegetable oil• 3/4 cup white cake mix• 4-5 cups rice Chex cereal• 1/2 cup powdered sugar

1. In a microwave safe bowl melt the red candy wafers for 30 seconds at a time, stir after every 30 seconds. Repeat until the wafers are fully melted.

2. Once the candy is smooth and completely melted, add the oil to the mixture.

3. Next stir in the cake mix. Pour the wafer mixture over 4-5 cups of rice Chex cereal and lightly stir until the cereal is evenly covered.

4. Repeat the following steps for the white candy and the blue candy.

5. Once each color is mixed and covered in candy and cake mix pour the 3 colors into a LARGE bowl. Add the powdered sugar to the bowl and mix with hands until it is evenly covered.

6. Now add the Red and Blue M&M’s® for a great addition to the Puppy Chow.

Captain America’s Fire Cracker Cookies

Ingredients: 1 box french vanilla cake mix 1 tsp baking powder 2 eggs 1/2 C vegetable oil 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 C red sprinkles 1/2 C blue sprinkles

THE“DIRECTIONS”..

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix and baking powder. In a small bowl, mix together the eggs, oil and vanilla

3. Add the egg mixture to the cake mixture and stir to combine. Stir in the sprinkles. Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet

4. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes

1. After cake is cooled, crumble into large bowl, mix with frosting. Roll into quarter size balls, place on wax covered cookie sheet.

2. Melt chocolate in microwave. Dip lollipop Sticks.TIP: Dipping end of the lollipop stick into melted to chocolate and insert into cake pops, it helps the pop attach.

3. Place in freezer. Once firm, dip cake pop into melted chocolate

2. Add the egg mixture to the cake mixture and stir to combine. Stir in the sprinkles. Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet

“DIRECTIONS”..

1. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. beat until smooth. add sugar. Continue beating until light anf fluffy. add eggs 1 at a time, add vanilla. Turn the mixer off. Add the flour and then beat just until combined.

2. Remove the dough and separate it into three equal pieces. Shape one piece of the dough into a 4- by 4-inch square, wrap it securely in plastic wrap and place it in the fridge. (This will be the white portion of the cookies.) repeat with other pieces of dough, add food colring and mix!

3. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes, Remove the dough from the fridge and cut each square in half to form two rectangles. Wrap half of each color of dough in plastic wrap and return it to the fridge.

4. Place the red dough in between two pieces of wax paper and roll it into a ectangle about 1/8-inch thick. repeat with other doughs!

5. Peel the top layer of wax paper off of the red dough and then peel the wax paper off one side of the white dough and use the other side to transfer the white dough on top of the red dough. repeat with blue dough! Very lightly roll the three layers together. roll into log, refrigerate for 1 hour.

6. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350ºF and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Remove the dough from the fridge and slice each log into 1/4-inch rounds. Place the rounds about 2 inches apart on the baking sheets, as the cookies will expand when baked.

7. Bake the cookies for 9 to 11 minutes until pale golden. Let cool.

TIP: Remove the dough logs and roll

them on the counter several times so

they don’t develop a flat side.

also, using a paper towel roll will help

maintain roundess of dough!

Ingredients: 14 whole Oreos, broken up. 1 1/2 cup of pretzels broken into pieces 1 lb. white chocolate almond bark (or melts) 1 cup of red and blue M&Ms red and blue colored sprinkles

1. Cover a large cookie sheet with wax paper

2. Spread broken cookes, pretzels and about 3/4 C of the M&Ms onto the waxed paper

3. Place white chocolate in a container and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir and then microwave for another 30 seconds until melted and smooth

4. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cookie mixture, spreading with spatula if needed to coat evenly. Sprinkle remaining M&Ms and colored sprinkles over the chocolate while it is still wet

5. Do not let it harden. Place cookie tray into refrigerator until set and firm

6. Remove and gently break bark into small pieces. Store in air tight container

“DIRECTIONS”..MAKE SURE TO BREAK THE PRETZELS AND OREOS INTO SMALL, VERY SMALL PIECES!

Ingredients: Candy Melts (Red, White & Blue) Oreo Cookies Lollipop Sticks Assorted Sprinkles 3 Microwave-Safe Cups Snack Size Ziploc Bags (optional)

“DIREC-TIONS”..

1. Start by twisting and separating the Oreos into two halves.

2. In a microwave-safe cup, melt a small amount of white candy melts (20-second increments, stirring well after each.)

3. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted candy, and sandwich it between both halves of the Oreo.

4. Fill a microwave-safe cup about 2/3 full of red candy melts, and melt them in the microwave (again using 20-second increments and stirring afterward).

5. Dip the Oreo pop into the red candy, allowing the candy to completely cover the cookie, lay the cookie pop on a sheet of parchment paper to cool and firm up.

6. Add sprinkles while the candy is still wet (if desired). Repeat.

TIP: Allow the candy to cool and firm completely before moving! A quick trip to the freezer will speed up the process if you’re in a hurry!
