FUNFAMILY EVENTS
WITH SUNNYD
Here at The TipToe Fairy we love to have fun. I love to make
things for my kids to let their imaginations go wild. One of the
best things I’ve ever made them was a play tent. I’ve made
various ones throughout the years, and they just love them.
They put them up in the living room, their bedrooms, and often
times take one outside for the perfect place for a little picnic
with SunnyD.

Orange Creamsicle No-Churn Ice Cream made
with SunnyD for a quick, fun, tasty, and totally
kid-approved dessert! Since SunnyD as a brand is
unapologetically fun, I figured it was time to throw
a SunnyD party, full of sunshine and laughter.

Allison Miller ~ Cupcake Diaries
We’ve been enjoying SunnyD as a drink, but we’ve also been
cooking with it. Most recently, we made this yummy, grilled
chicken, and the kids loved it!
The sauce is so sweet and tangy. It tastes so good with the
SunnyD in it. The kids thought it was pretty cool that we used it
in our dinner. Both of the kids ended up having seconds. Win!

FUN & EDUCATIONALRING TOSS GAME
This is a simple ring toss game. However, I added
a little math element to it to keep their minds
active. They actually love the competition that
came with playing it the first time, especially
when I told them that the winner got to stay
up for an extra 15 minutes past their normal
bedtime.

ORANGE DELICIOUSOne of my favorite memories from being a kid is going to the
mall with my mom. We would go, just the two of us, but all I
remember doing is hitting Claire’s, the Hello Kitty store, and
getting an Orange Julius.
I recently had a craving for an Orange Julius, so I decided to try
making one at home, and I’m sharing my recipe for an Orange
Delicious with you. Want to make one for yourself?
After doing some research,
I discovered what makes
an Orange Julius great is
its creaminess and froth!
It’s a cross between
orange juice and a frothy
milkshake, but with
more orange juice than
milkshake.

BANANA PANCAKES WITH SUNNYD
In honor of our 6-year-old selves, I chose to combine my
love of pancakes with her love of SunnyD – or wait, is that my
love of SunnyD? Nevermind – clearly my reasoning skills now
cannot stoop to my reasoning skills back then, especially when
pancakes that taste as good as these and are as fun to make are
lying around.
When I say these pancakes are easy – they are so easy you
can get your 6-year-old child (or children) involved in mixing the
ingredients up – but, y’all might not want to let y’alls 6-year-old
selves do the flipping … or maybe y’all do … heck, it would be a
whole lotta fun!

SUNNY SUMMER SNACKS

This week has been a pretty
good scorcher, with days of
80-degree sunny skies. We’ve
played outside, gone to the
beach and even planted some
flowers and veggies.
On this particular day, I really
wanted to have a good and fun
snack ready for after outside
time. First thing in the morning,
I gathered a few ingredients.
Then Dean and I made some
popsicles using that delicious
SunnyD we picked up. I make
my popsicles super simple, with
just little paper cups and paper
straws, and no fancy equipment
needed!

SUNNYDFLOWER POTS
As I looked at the perfectly
sized 6.75 ounce bottles,
inspiration struck. My kiddos
jumped right on board, and
instantly we knew that we
could enjoy drinking our
SunnyD. Then afterwards, we
could take the bottles and
upcycle them into bright and
colorful planters complete
with fabulous flowers that
were sure to help us spread
the fun for the rest of the
school year!

ORANGE BANANA PRETZEL SALAD
Orange Banana Pretzel Salad is three layers of deliciousness.
First, there’s a crust of gluten-free pretzels, butter and sugar.
Next, is a luscious layer of cream cheese, sugar and whipped
topping. All is topped with a refreshing citrus layer of SunnyD,
orange gelatin and fresh banana slices.

CRAFT SUNNYD BOWLING
Of course, the fun doesn’t end just because the SunnyD is gone-
you know I put those perfect 6.75oz bottles to great use in a fun
upcycling project I’ll be sharing on the blog real soon! From the
Pin above you can see what it’s all about, but you’re definitely
going to want to check out the Instagram tutorial below for all
the juicy details. It’s so easy the kids can join in - and this is one
summer activity you CAN take indoors if the weather doesn’t
decide to play fair! Check out the #WhereFunBegins hub for
more SunnyD inspired summer activities!

SUNSHINECUPCAKES
We used SunnyD in our cupcakes and the buttercream frosting.
Sam was fascinated with my method of making the buttercream
roses. It really does look impressive, but it is quite simple to pull
off. Here’s the recipe for our cupcakes. Sam named them Sunny
Summer Flowers.

Cyndi ~ My Kitchen Craze
My daughter loves SunnyD, and we decided to have a BBQ this
past weekend, so I thought I would make some sort of refreshing
ice-y drink to sip on while we have some fun in the sun. I wanted
to surprise my daughter, (who is the picky eater of the family),
with these SunnyD’s, and thought why not use her favorite drink
to make a nice cold drink.

Kim ~ Mommie Again
It’s been raining every day
for three weeks here in north
Texas, and the sun hasn’t
peeped out much at all.
Brody has been missing his
playtime outdoors on his play
set, especially the swing. So
that’s what he chose to do
after graduation ... right in the
muddy spot.
I had a few SunnyD bottles
left after Brody had his muddy
mess with them, and thought
of a fun activity for him to do.
Our front sidewalk was still wet from all the rain, but Brody managed to make this fun for
him. He enjoyed tracing the letters with chalk, and after that he made other words out of
the letters...well, he tried anyway!! This to me is the best FUN of all ... him having fun and
learning too!! He doesn’t even know he’s learning.
