A message from Fr. David:
As we transition into our temporary chapel spaces for weekday and Sunday Masses, I would like to remind us all of the need to maintain proper reverence and sacred silence in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, and to be respectful of those who have come to pray. Although, we have done our best to provide a worthy and reverent space, it can be easy to forget that we are in a sacred space. As you will notice in both the Parish Life Center for daily Mass and the Gym for Sunday Mass we, unfortunately, we are not able to provide kneelers. Because we are humans, consisting of body and soul, our postures and gestures are very important, and we should always strive to be the most reverent. I offer the following suggestions for those times in the Mass when we are expected to kneel:
For those who are able, you are most welcome to kneel on the floor, especially during the consecration (follow the lead of the deacon)
You are welcome to bring a kneeling pad or cushion to use during Mass.
If kneeling is not a possibility, you should stand during the times when we would normally kneel, and make a profound bow as the priest genuflects after he elevates the host and chalice.
And for those whom standing for an extended period of time presents a challenge, you may sit as needed.
Also, as you come forward to receive Holy Communion, family groups are invited to come up as a group. There is no need to maintain social distancing in the communion line, when you are sitting next to each other in the pew. ________________________________________________________

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
M-W-F 9:30 am - Noon First Friday until 8:00 pm
The School Mass takes place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:00 am. With all the adaptations we are making due to the Covid virus, the School Mass schedule has been effected. We are having to split the grades to ensure social distancing. The Mass is exclusively for students, faculty, and staff. Therefore, we will not expose the Blessed Sacrament on Friday mornings between the Masses.
After many years and countless hours, Fran Gullman and Mary Jo Rolince have decided to step down as directors of the Holy Family Gift Shop. We cannot thank Fran and Mary Joe enough for all they have done for our parishioners. They did an amazing job and we will be forever grateful for their hard work and dedication.
The Holy Family Gift Shop will be on hiatus during church renovations, and will eventually be moved to the space currently used as the St. Vincent de Paul office on the East side of the Parish Office. If you wish to make a purchase from the gift shop during the renovations, please come into the Parish Office and we will be happy to help you.
If you are interested in serving on the Gift Shop’s team of volunteers please email Patti Lombardo at [email protected].

September 17, 2020 Dear Holy Family Parishioners, I invite you to take some time to review the Financial Summary from our previous fiscal year. The full report is available in the Parish Office, and the Finance Council is available to answer any questions you may have. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the Finance Council for their diligence and prudence over the past few months. They have worked tirelessly to keep the parish operating smoothly during these uncertain times. I continue to be overwhelmed by your continued generosity and faithful stewardship, particularly in these last few months as we are all dealing with the effects of the response to the Covid situation. Because of your dedication to the parish, over the past year we have been able to pay off the mortgage on the Parish Life Center, Courtyard, and Parish Office; pay for a most needed upgrade/repair to the A/C in the church; and pay for the renovations that are currently underway. I am most grateful for this and am excited to see the finished project. Let’s pray that the renovations will be completed in time for Christmas! As you can see in the report, we have seen a sizable reduction in the weekly offering; I know that many of you have been able to continue your contributions. Thank you for that. I also completely understand that some of us have been greatly affected by Covid and are unable to contribute at the same level that you had been able to in the past. If that is you, please know that part of being a family is that those who can chip in for those who are not able to, trusting that everyone is contributing all they can to the life of the parish. We currently have 1588 registered families in our parish, if each family could increase their financial contribution by $1/month ($12/year) we would see an increase in $19,000.00 to our annual offering. This would be sufficient to make up for last year’s budget shortfall. I also would like to say, that I have no idea who gives what as far as weekly/monthly contributions. All I see are the weekly/monthly totals. I never want anyone to feel unwelcomed or unworthy based upon the amount they are able to contribute, nor do I want anyone to feel that we give special treatment to anyone simply because they are able to contribute substantially. I am reminded of the story of the widow’s mite (Luke 21), and St. James admonition to “show no partiality” (James 2). Once again, I thank you for your dedication and your financial generosity to our parish. I am excited to continue this journey with all of you. Let’s be saints! Fr. David Keegan
