Mission Statement: Holy Child Parish

United with the Pope, we the members of Holy Child Parish seek to be a welcoming church, which fosters spiritual development and expresses charity by living in word and deed the life of Christ. Under the leadership of the bishop, our goals are to implement effective ministries through word, worship, and the sacraments, to enhance the spiritual growth of our parish family, and to encourage, through works of love and faith, the unity of the Church.

Sacraments:

Reconciliation: Confessions are heard on First Friday from 9 to 10 am at Holy Child Church, and on First Saturday from 10 to 11 am at Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church. For other times, call the office to make an appointment.

Baptism: Please call the church office to make arrangements to meet with the pastor and schedule the time and date of the ceremony.

Matrimony: Couples planning to marry should contact their Pastor at least 6 months before the planned wedding date.

Anointing of the Sick: Anointing and Holy Communion are available to the infirmed and homebound. Families are asked to notify the church office to arrange a visit.

New Parishioners: Holy Child Parish welcomes you! New members are asked to register by contacting the Parish Office. Registration is a requirement for admission to our religious education programs and reception of the Sacraments of Bap-tism, First Penance, Confirmation, and Matrimony.

Mass Reservations No Longer Needed!

Now that we can stream Mass into Holy Child Hall, reser-vations are no longer needed. Please take seats as they are available in the pews and then down into the hall.

Social distancing and masks are still required. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this

time of transition. (Please note: The obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days remains suspended.)

The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the Tabernacle.

Please be mindful of this and try to keep a Silent reverence.

Spiritual Adoption Program

Month Eight - Your baby is mak-ing progress developing all of his external features and internal organs. His brain is functioning at 40 days. His mother can hear his heartbeat now on an ultrasonic stethoscope. Baby-teeth buds are present at 6 ½ weeks. And it has been reported that a two-month old baby can suck his thumb. From this moment, your spir-itually adopted baby grows and refines his body. But every-thing he needs to survive after birth is already present by the end of the eighth week.

God, author of all life, bless, we pray, this unborn child; give constant protection and grant a healthy birth that is the sign of our rebirth one day into the eternal rejoicing of heaven. Amen.
