Coming up on June 13th, 2010, BCCC will be having it’s annual church family picnic. Please bring lawn chairs, picnic food for your family and to share, and come for a day of fun and fellowship with the BCCC church family.

A date has finally been set for our special Creation Calls Service! Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 13th. If you would like to submit any of your artwork or sign up to perform, please contact Tricia Ris.

If you have not yet filled out your information in the phone directory list, please be sure to do so by next Sunday, June 6th.

Tales from the Other End is the theme of the upcoming Men’s Retreat at Charis Camp. The retreat will be from June 4-6 and is open to all boys and men ages 12+. Special guest Dr. Derrick Mueller will be sharing his experiences as a pastor, speaker, trainer, professor, comedian, and abstract artist. For more information, check out the insert found in this bulletin OR pick up a brochure in the church lobby after the service.

Prayer Partners is an exciting new ministry happening at BCCC! On Sunday, June 13th, 2010, each of you will be assigned a prayer partner. Prayer Partners will present an excellent opportunity to share your prayerful needs, pray for someone else’s needs, and grow a strong, spiritual friendship with another member of our church family. For more information, please contact the church office.

On Saturday, June 12th there will be a time to decorate the church for the Creation Calls service and there will be an opportunity for those who are performing to practice.

Dr. Derrick Mueller is a motivational speaker, trainer,

professor, comedian, abstract artist and author. He lives in Kitchener, Ontario with his wife, Laurie and their four children. In the early

days of pastoring, Derrick learned that sober theology didn't do the trick in church, the people wanted

to know that their pastor was human too. Soon after, sermon

prep included jumping into tractors and combines sitting around campfires, and hanging out at

summer camps. This weekend, Derrick will

take all of these experiences and fabricate a series of

“tales from the other end.” For more information, please contact

John Shipley or Glenn Hulstein.

Prayer Partners is an exciting new ministry happening at BCCC!

As Conrad has just finished his Vertical Connections Series on Prayer, it is important that we look at how each of us can strengthen our prayer lives. In doing so, Prayer Partners, has been created to encourage

more relational prayer within our church. Prayer Partners is a ministry where each member of the

church will be assigned to another member to not only pray for them, but to also share their own

personal prayer requests. Matthew 18:19-20 says "Again I say to you, if

two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in

heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

Matt 18:19-20. As life becomes more difficult, it is often easy to

neglect to ask others to pray for our needs. In doing so, we are also neglecting God’s purpose of a church

family. Participation is optional, however we strongly encourage everyone to get involved.

Partners will be randomly assigned, so we ask each of you to pray for God’s blessing as the names are

drawn. Pray that God will use this ministry as a vital tool of spiritual growth, comfort, and to

strengthen existing friendships within our church.
