Performer Fabrizio Bosso Quartet Post-bop Italian jazz trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso started learning

the trumpet at the age of five graduating only ten years later from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory

of Turin at age fifteen Upon graduating he was awarded a scholarship to study at St Marys

College in Washington DC Bossorsquos career also includes numerous performances as solo trumpeter

with important conductors such as Wayne Marshall or Maria Schneider The Fishman Embassy

Series presented by Events DC so named in honor of Charles Fishman founder of the DC Jazz

Festivalreg is an ongoing presentation of DCJF at festival time and throughout the year This series

presents artists from across the globe in partnership with the foreign embassy community in our
