A LITURGY FOR Graduating Seniors LEADER: O Faithful Father, you have gathered us here today to reflect and celebrate your faithfulness to these graduates; whom you have created, sustained, and loved for all the days of their lives. PEOPLE: We praise God for each of you, and look for-ward to the Lord’s continued faithfulness to each of you, as you enter into this new season of life. LEADER: Tell me, families of these graduates, how will con-tinue to train up these graduates in the way they should go? FAMILIES: As you go where the Lord leads you, we will con-tinue to love you, encourage you, pray for you, and be open and available to you through whatever comes your way. LEADER: It is good for you to love these graduates in this way. May they know Jesus deeper through the way you love them. Congregation, how will you continue to train up these graduates in the way they should go? PEOPLE: We will be your prayer warriors, faithfully pray-ing that the Spirit of God would lead you, teach you, and encourage you as you go. As you return here from wher-ever the Lord takes you, we look forward to hearing of all the good things the Lord has done for you. LEADER: It is good for you to support these graduates in this way. Now graduates, as you go from this place, we commis-sion you as Jesus commissioned His disciples to go into the world and make disciples. May you be a light in dark places, and bring hope to the hopeless, wearing your title as ambas-sadors for Christ proudly. May you always look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, through all of life's triumphs and trials. May you remember and recall what you have learned and experienced here, and look upon those experi-ences with delight. We are proud of you, and are excited to watch you step out in faith into your next chapter of your lives. PEOPLE: Praise be to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, for what He has done through each of you and what He will continue to do as you go. LEADER: Amen. Let us pray.
