Pastor’s Corner We will be observing “21 Days of Prayer” from

Mon, Jan 9th—Sun, Jan 29th, 2017. An accompanying devotional guide of scriptures for reflection is available in the Covington and Tabernacle Blvd lobbies. For those who are able during the 21 days we will also:

Choose 1 day each week to observe a personal fast for a total of 3 fasting days. Please be mindful of any medical issues that could be complicated by fasting.

Join us during bible study times (Wednesdays at 11a.m. & 6 p.m.) for corporate prayer.

This afternoon pastor, choir and congregation will be the guests of Valley Baptist Church [500 Sharon-New Castle Rd., Farrell, PA 16121] for Pastor T. James & Lady Tamara J. Harrison's 4th Pastoral Appreciation Celebration. Pastor McKee will be the guest preacher for their service at 4 p.m.

Jan 29th Pastor McKee will be guest preacher at Mt. Calvary [1812 Oak Hill Avenue 44507] at 6 p.m. for an evening youth service.

Save the date: March 19th, 2017 choir and congregation will be the guests of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church [343 N Main St, Mansfield, OH 44902]. Pastor McKee will be guest preacher for their church anniversary.

Joint Board Meeting will be Tues, Jan 24th at 6 p.m.

Quarterly Business Meeting will be Sat, Jan 28th at 10 a.m.

The Recreation Ministry will have their annual Pancake Brunch on Sat, Jan 28th, 2017 in the S. P. Phillips Fellowship Hall starting at 11:30 a.m. Donation: $10. Meals will not be delivered however carry-out meals will be available. Please see a member of the Recreation Ministry for tickets.

Tax season will be here before we know it. If you would like a copy of your 2016 financial contributions please see the sign up sheet in the Covington Street Lobby before Fri, Jan 27th. For those who need their contribution report mailed to them please include your mailing address on the sign up sheet.

Officer Installation will be held Sun, Jan 29th during morning worship. Officers please be sure to wear black & white.

Tabernacle is currently accepting applications for a Church Sexton, who will be responsible for assisting with maintenance duties as well as opening and closing the church as assigned. Individual will work 10-15 hours weekly. Please submit resumes and/or letters of interest to [email protected].
