WE CAN HELP! We offer shots of creativity, doses of inspiration, color transfusions and gentle quilt

counseling. Quilt therapists Linda and Teresa can help you rehabilitate that project you thought was too far gone! A select group of fabric will be 50% off to grace the back of

your revitalized project or even one you're expecting!

The ER will be open Sun., Nov. 15 from 2-6pm & Mon., Nov. 16 from 2-6pm.

2010 Block of the Month

“Civil War Tribute” “American Heritage” “Happy Halloween”

SUNDAY BEST GIVES YOU CHOICES! For 2010 we’re offering THREE Block-of-the-Month Quilts to choose from—or you can do all 3! To showcase these quilts, we’ve added a NEW Block-of-the-Month page to our website. Be sure to check it out! Please sign up by December 1st, so we can make sure your kit is ready by January. Civil War Tribute: You can use Sunday Best's HALF SQUARE TRIANGLE STENCIL

to complete this quilt!! Quilt measures 100"x112" and each pattern includes historical references about the corresponding battle and how it affected the lives of those left at home. Battlefields were chosen to represent both the northern and the southern points of view and there is added source material from actual Civil War diaries and letters. $10 Sign-up fee, plus $23.95 each month for 12 months, beginning in January. Quilt requires NO finishing kit. American Heritage: American Heritage is an 8-month block of the month in red, white and blue, from Bits n' Pieces. It's 8 wall quilts sewn together into a finished quilt is 75"x90" or you can finish each one separately as mini quilts and table runners. Basic cutting and piecing skills are required. $10 Sign-up fee, plus $14.95 per month for 8 months, beginning in February. Happy Halloween: A frighteningly adorable appliqué Halloween quilt from Amy Brad-ley Designs. Just for fun! This is a 6 month program and we'll make 2 spooktacular blocks per month, beginning in February and ending in September, so you can be ready for Halloween 2010! Celebrate the Season on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2-4pm, and create beautiful embellished fabric postcards with

Joanne Camp! These charming postcards, made from your favorite bits and pieces, can actually be mailed

through the postal service. Joanne will provide a kit to make 3 postcards and Donna Cook is catering a Holiday

English Tea at 4:30pm following the class. You must sign up in advance for both. It’s $40 to at-

tend the class AND the Tea, but if you can only attend the Tea it will be $20.

Machine Quilting with a Walking Foot

Let Teacher Nell Oates show you a fast, easy way to do graceful machine quilting.

Thursday, December 3rd, 10:00am - 1:00pm, $20. Nell will demonstrate her quilted

potholders too! You will need a Walking Foot for this class.

Free Motion Machine Quilting

In this class Linda will have demonstrations and give you practice time so you can get

the feel of 'hand quilting' with an electric needle! Friday, December 11th, 2:00pm -

5:00pm, $20. Know how to ‘drop your feed dogs’ before you come to class! You will

need a Darning Foot (open toe works best) for this class.
