Fun for all the family in and around the Square! SUNDAY 30th APRIL 11am-3pm Competitions Treasure Hunt This competition is running from now until 28th April. Ten local shops in Cumnock have a picture depicting Springtime or Easter. All you have to do is complete the entry sheet from school and hand it in to the Community Action Plan stall on the day of the Spring Fling. Look in the shop windows in Glaisnock Street, Ayr Road and Townhead Street for your clues. The winners will be announced at the Spring Fling - Good luck! Easter Bonnet Parade Design your own Easter Bonnet and bring it with you for the parade which leaves the corner between D W Shaw and the bookies, down Glaisnock Street, Ayr Road to parade in the Church Hall, Ayr Road for judging and then back through the car park and up to the Square. We have prizes for three age groups to be awarded on the day. Tour of Ayrshire Cycling Event About 4,000 cyclists will pass through Cumnock during the Spring Fling. The event incorporates the Chrono Time Trial and the Marmotte Ècosse Gran Fondo. Both are qualifying events for the UCI World Championships. Cyclists who finish in the top 25% in their classification will qualify for the World Championship in France. The cyclists will enter Cumnock from Auchinleck Road and down the Tanyard and return down Glaisnock Street, along Hamilton Place and out Barrhill Road. The event is being organised by Golazo Cycling, a subsidiary of major European Mass Participation Sports Brand. Further information can be found on the official website  www.tourofayrshire.com Fancy Volunteering? Your Health & Safety The roads in Cumnock are closed from 10.15am - 3.45pm for safety reasons - but traffic management procedures are in place to ensure that, where safe to do so, gaps in cyclists groups can be used for people to cross the roads safely. Look out for the Specialist Marshalls who can offer assistance in emergency travel requirements. The public toilets at the Tanyard Bus Stance will be open for the Spring Fling. First Aid provision is available from St Andrews’s Ambulance Service located in the Square next to the Lost Children safe area. Please ensure that everyone in your family is aware of their locations. If you require any assistance, Spring Fling stewards will be visibly located throughout the Square and at our indoor venue. Keep your personal belongings safe, be careful crossing roads but most of all have fun and enjoy the Spring Fling events. Thanks too... Spring has sprung!We are delighted to welcome you to the first ever Cumnock Spring Fling. Organised this year in joint collaboration between Cumnock Action Plan, Cumnock Business Association, East Ayrshire Vibrant Communities and Cumnock Community Council - the same people who organised last year’s amazing Cumnock Christmas Festival.

Spring is a time to blow away the cobwebs and get outside where families, friends and the community can join in the Spring Fling celebrations in Cumnock’s town centre.
