ambulatory, with or without an assistive device and can imitate or follow simple directions. The focus is to encourage increased gain coordination, balance and gross motor skills while moving to with popular preschool songs.

in a group setting. Improve self-regulation, body awareness, and fine motor skills. Gain tools for sensory home programming.

to try a variety of sensory motor experiences. Beneficial for families establishing a home program to incorporate sensory input into daily routine.

appropriate social skills and an awareness of age appropriate activities to participate in with friends and peers? This group focuses on teaching social skills such as eye contact, initiation, peer relationships, taking turns while learning recreational skills to be used at home and in the community.

how to be safe on a bike. This is the group for you. Bring your child and their bike and helmet to group to learn proper safe biking skills. This group will focus on traffic laws and safe biking procedures while encouraging group fitness, fun and exercise through biking.

Walking Classic Ages: 10-18 years old Location/Time: TBD Duration: 4 weeks Facilitators: Therapeutic Recreation Focus: Do you want to complete a real
life walking marathon. Join us for a fun walking group this summer. This group will provide exercise activity while also completing scavenger hunts, potato sack races, relays and fun fitness. In September, participants can join with Nationwide Children’s Hospital in a mile walk during the New Albany Walking Classic.
