Over the past eight years we have had huge success raising over £378,000 forthe St. James’s Place Foundation.

This year by invitation from Her Majesty's Secret Service 007 is reporting for duty! Summer Swing will take you through the years of James Bond to bring you a night to remember. The St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group started trading in 1992(as J. Rothschild Assurance) and in the same year set up its Charitable Foundation. Since that time the St. James’s Place Foundation has become one of the most successful company charities in the UK, with over £40 million raised and distributed to hundreds of good causes since it started.

Company Matching The Directors stated from day one that the Company would make contributions to the Foundation when it was in a financial position to do so. In 1999 it was able to honour that commitment, with full shareholder approval, by matching funds raised by Partners and staff pound for pound.

How is the money raised? Funds are raised and donated by Partners of St. James's Place Wealth

Management and employees of St. James’s Place. Over 85% of theSt. James’s Place community make a monthly contribution to supportthe Foundation’s grant making.

Where does the money go? From the outset, the Foundation has been keen to support small charities that can substantially benefit from relatively small grants (a few thousand pounds). Several hundred small charities have benefited as a result. The focus on the Foundation’s efforts is towards children and young people who are disadvantaged or have special needs, and the hospice movement.

Since 1999, the additional money generated by St. James’s Place plc, matching the monies raised by Partners and staff, has boosted the

Foundation’s funds.

This has enabled the Foundation to give substantial support to the following organisations, among others:

• Hope and Homes for Children• Teenage Cancer Trust• Laureus Sport for Good Foundation• Education for the Children Foundation
