Humber College is proud to have entered into a unique partnership with Royal Thimphu College, the first private college in Bhutan. Students will study for academic credit in the world’s only remaining Buddhist Himalayan Kingdom. The RTC summer program is designed to provide students the means with which to gain deep insight into a unique country undergoing dramatic transition. Included:

Successful completion of this program is the equivalent of up to 2.0 lower level degree breadth elective credits or up to 2.0 GNED from the School of Liberal Arts and Science. Must be approved in advance. Summer tuition fees are waived at Humber, and normal tuition will be due for the Fall 2017 semester

Entrance fees and transportation for scheduled program activities, cultural excursions and essential sightseeing

Travel health insurance for the program dates, provided by Humber

A Letter of Intent is a part of the application process for the Royal Thimphu College Summer School program. Before you start writing your letter, think through first what your objectives and goals are. It is highly recommended that you have someone proofread your letter. You can also get assistance in writing your letter by bringing a draft of the letter to the Writing Centre (it is recommended to make an appointment at least three days in advance). Your Letter of Intent should be one-page in length, single spaced, Arial font, size 10, and addressed to the Selection Committee. Your letter should address the following:
