OPTIONAL - Dr Roth will lead interested students to see Friday night Jewish services welcoming the Sabbath at the Western Wall.
Estimated CostsAIRFARE July is the peak travel time for Israel and fares from the United States to Israel (TLV) will cost around $1500-1700.
INSURANCE Students must purchase travel insurance if it is not provided by their current health insurance carrier. This will likely cost less than $100.
HOTEL / TOUR FEE Students must pay a $1500 fee to JHU. This will cover hotels and breakfasts, charter bus, entrance fees, guide fees and tips.
FOOD Breakfasts, except in Majdal Shams, are included in the hotel fee. Lunch and dinner will need to be self-funded, and students should expect to spend at least $30 for meals per day.
