DESCRIPTION

The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to read six or more books of their choice during the holidays with collectable incentives and rewards. Your child will even be given the opportunity to win a bike!

Story Lab is Northumberland Libraries’ excitingsummer reading challenge. Sign up at your locallibrary and help Professor Cortex and the StoryLab kids to boost the imagination of the Story Lab- a hi-tech computer that collects stories fromacross the world. Just visit the library three times and read six booksduring the summer holidays. You will receivestickers to chart your progress, story-makerfortune tellers and key-rings. Complete the Challenge and you will receive aCertificate and medal at one of our Celebrationevents and will be entered into our prize draw towin a fantastic new bike! Libraries are holding craft and Olympic-themedevents and the special website www.story-lab.org.ukhas even more activities on offer.Story Lab is free and it’s fun so join now!
