Here’s the opportunity for quilters with moderate abilities to learn to sew a quirky new block, using your favorite scraps to create your own unique “fabric soup” quilt. Learn “the secrets” to picking fabrics that become sparkling scrap quilts, using the angles on your rulers and carefully working with bias edge triangles. news - these shirts make excellent quilts! Because they are knits, there are few tricks to working with them. Gay has made several T-shirt quilts and she is happy to share her techniques with you. Bring some shirts and turn them into pillows, quilts or even totes. This

class will cover the basics of cutting, sewing and pre-paring T-shirts for a variety of projects. Basic sewing and cutting skills required. Fee: $25
