Do you remember when one piece swimsuits were only made for women trying to conceal a less than attractive figure or to hide an unsightly tummy and the forbidden love handles? Or when mother’s bought them for their teenage daughters because they were modest and covered more. One piece’s used to be what you wore to do laps at the pool; they were certainly not a fashion statement.

When I think of a one piece swimsuit, I remember the tank style straps with a round neck line, a full back and bodice that tapered into a ruffled skirt to cover one’s not-so-toned bottom. The whole swim-suit was usually in a big ugly floral print with a matching cover up in a button up with the same print. There is nothing sexy about that im-age! One in particular comes to mind is a one piece that my mother had picked out for me, Oh what a nightmare! I was so embarrassed when we would go to our local pool. It was a black one piece with big pink flowers all over and a ruffle trim to boot. It also came with a matching shawl in the same identical print. The whole outfit reminded me of a set of shower curtains.

This season, one piece swimwear is much more appealing than their predecessors from previous decades. Sleek and sexy, alluring detail, beautiful fabrics and prints in a variety of unique designs. From fashion houses and renowned brands around the globe, a variety of elegant swimsuits are now available.

You might want to take a second look at these enticing creations before you head for the bikini racks. This range of sexy one piece suits in bright, eye-catching colours and exotic styles are sure to make you the centre of attention at any summer outing. Whether it is a casual day at the beach or a glamorous summer pool party with friends, the one piece serves you well, it is even more practical for doing laps in the pool.

Sleek and flirtatious swimwear in a variety of styles and reasonably priced so as not to break the bank are a must this sum-mer. halter Style necklines or strapless styles are available with a low cut in back and high cut thigh to reveal shapely legs. A Day in the Life of a Wrangler Model with Chenae Shiner

T raveling to Boston for the latest Wrangler photo shoot was amazing to say the least! I’d never been to Boston before so it was

great to see the sights and get to enjoy some of mike’s Pastries famous cannoli’s, which prob-ably wasn’t the best pre-photo shoot food, but they were delicious! The Wrangler shoot started out bright and early on a farm outside of Bos-ton. Shada Brazile, Alissa Burson (Wranglers Ultimate Cowgirl), and I were doing the wom-en’s shots, while World Champion tie-down roper, Stran Smith handled the men’s side. The girls and I were riding horses to get some action shots, which getting three horses to all work to-gether can be a bit tricky!! But luckily we had a great team and it all worked out perfectly. Af-ter the group shots I went out to a nearby field to do a few shots in a couple different outfits.

This was a great setting only we forgot that there was nowhere to change out in the field!! This is where teamwork came into play as the Wrangler girls held up a blanket while I managed a quick change in the field, all the while trying to avoid poison ivy, we got some good laughs out of that one. As luck would have it we were just about to wrap up our last shot when the rain started coming down. The entire team had to huddle under umbrella and wait for a quick break in the rain to hurry and snap a few pictures be-fore diving back under the umbrellas. All in all though, it was a great shoot! Working with the Wrangler team and modeling for them is always a great experience! Wrangler is such an iconic in the western industry so every time you work with them, you know you’re in for something special!

COmBInE the yogurt, banana, juice, and strawberries for 20 seconds. Scrape down the sides and blend for an additional 15 seconds.

1 c 1% milk 2 Tbsp low-fat vanilla yogurt½ c frozen peaches½ c strawberries⅛ tsp powdered ginger2 tsp whey protein powder3 ice cubes

1. BLEnD together any liquid ingredients (milk, yogurt, juice, etc.) and protein powder; this will help break down the grainy powder and make sure it’s evenly distributed.2. ADD mushy ingredients, like precooked oatmeal and fruit, then add ice at the end. For a thicker shake, you can toss in more ice cubes; you’ll add volume without the calories.

watermelon wonderTransform a summer fruit favorite into a drinkable delight. Just remember to buy seedless watermelon or remove the seeds before you blend!

2 c chopped watermelon¼ c fat-free milk2 c ice

COmBInE the watermelon and milk, and blend for 15 seconds, or until smooth. Add the ice, and blend 20 sec-onds longer, or to your desired consistency. Add more ice, if needed, and blend for 10 seconds.
