Studies show that a typical student loses nearly two reading levels during summer vacation.

The Y wants to ensure that your child will not backslide in their reading and also propel them ahead for the new school year. Learning doesn’t have to stop when summer break begins at the YMCA of Catawba Valley.

Our Summer Camp is full of new and exciting ways for kids to stay engaged and to continue learning valuable skills while also having fun. Our campers will read and receive tutoring to maintain their level of learning.
