Read the passage below and answer the following question that follows
Meditation is a practice used to relax the body and calm the mind. It is the
process of clearing the mind of all its chaos. In short, meditation is the ability to
relax the mind and give it freedom to be. Once you have learned how to do it,
you will feel better. The more you do it, the more you will get out of it.
Learning how to meditate is not easy. In order to be a successful
meditator, you have to be gentle with yourself. Do a little meditating each day
until it comes as naturally as breathing . Do not give up as practice makes
perfect. The most important part of meditating process is to find a quiet place
where you will not be disturbed.
Find a comfortable place to sit. Sitting on the floor or on a cushion with
your legs crossed and your back straight is a good choice. But, sitting in a chair,
feet flat on the floor with your back straight and with your hands in front of you
in a relaxed state is another option.
Take deep breath and gently close your eyes. Continue taking deep
breaths. With each additional breath, you will begin to feel your body relaxing.
Start a visualising exercise by taking your mind to a peaceful place. This helps to
rid the mind of the stresses of life.
