moving image to me is a record of a moment in time, thus a museum of the moving image to me is a museum of

a moving memory. The project is located in a previously children playground so i intended my museum to be

about childhood. a museum of the moving memory. the project covers structural, mechanical, electrical, and

plumping. the circulation is an important feature in my design because it all about the journey through the

museum, the journey through childhood. the museum has screens showing videos of childhood memories

as well as videos recording the memory of the visitors’ journey in the museum. the museum is located nearin

the project is adressing the concept of having comfortable residential units in a congested urban area. the

site is located in the busy bor saed harbour dubai, in the old town dubai, uae. The project has three types of

residential units, two bedroom , one bedroom, and studio. The ground floor is used for commercial shops

and there is a children indoor play area serving the one bedroom and two bedroom units. i placed all the

studios in one end of the building and the one bedroom and two bedroom units in the other end close to

the play area since they will be rented by mostly families.resid

The site is located in the heart of the city, ras alkhor lagoon dubai, uae, yet it is in a world of its own. After

collecting the information from the case study analysis and site analysis, I want to use the energies available

in the site such as the energy form the sun and wind. Moreover i am planning to use the wind for ventilation.

the project intention is to develop a center that has a combination of exceptional aesthetic value with a lev-

el of environmentally sustainable measures that assure as a model of how to build a unique place in the 21st

century, a sanctuary where the visitors to enter a remarkable, environmentally advanced building nestled

into the existing wetland form without projecting above the existing vegetation, except for a camouflaged

space for bird lookout and casual quiet setting area. Inside, visitors should be treated to an unfolding series

of panoramic views, delighting the eye in every season and drawing the imagination deeper into the lagoon,

sky, and gardens.ras a

I noticed that everything in nature is built from modules that are repeated and connected to each other to

make up the structure of a plant cell or an atom, etc... So I took a simple module which is a rectangle, mass

produced it and interlocked it into each other. Then I introduced another module which is the circle

which is notched in all eight cardinal points. I created the structure using these modules plus the use of

long horizontal modules in the case of a span. The form of the structure is according to the circulation

and program, that is whenever the structure is tilted in a zigzag manner, there would be a stair case. The

spaces are attached to the tower and they are made using the same modules. The environmental contribution

of the tower is that it stores the cardboard boxes and goods of the sailors on site temporarily so the site

will remain clean and organized. Moreover the tower collects the cardboard remains and stores them for

the steward to prepare them for recycling. There is a bridge that comes out of the tower to transport the

cardboard boxes from the bay to the tower. the site is in the busy bor saed harbour in dubai, uae.[ex]c

My billboard is a [re]cycle water bottle billboard that collects water bottles to prepare them for recycling.

The bottles are inserted in holes that have discs at their ends. Once a bottle is inserted, the disc, which is

silver in the default stage, flips to show its other side which is Colored either red or blue. As the billboard

is filling up, the message will gradually appear as more discs are flipped. This activity is fun and useful for

school children and adults to help clean the environment and create an awareness about recycling in a way

where nothing is wasted. the billboard is located on the 911 highway in sharjah, uae.[r
