Welcome to the Subrosa 1st ordering period prebook! Most of this offering was just debuted at Interbike 2014 so many of you may have gotten to see this goodness in person. For others this will be your first introduction to some of our new product we’re rolling out for 2015.

With our frames growing in popularity, and our team being stoked on their current models we held off on major changes, and added some awesome new color options. We added a longer top tube option to Scott Ditchburn’s Thunderbeast frame, and the newly dubbed Noster III by Simone Barraco will go back to a 75° headtube angle and new “S” bend chainstays for a stiffer rear end.

Our Bitchin Cranks have received a complete make over and now dubbed the “Big Bitchin” cranks. Now with a 22mm spindle and a 3pc design, and a version without bosses specifically for spline drive.

We’ve also revamped our seats and added some signature designs from Subrosa pro riders Nick Bullen and Hoang Tran and for our aluminum parts you’ll see new colors including Nüde Metal, 3rd Place Bronze, Blue/Black Fade, and of course Matte Black.

As we set out to do, our continued effort to expand our categories never offered to BMX before were continuing our Locks and Light lines, and adding new accessories for the Subrosa Street Rail so riders can now connect two rails together!

Thanks you all for your continued support and I’m looking forward to push the good word of Subrosa even harder and further than we did this year. To start the new year out, we’ll be launching a new website to help make it even easier and more exciting for our fans, new riders, lifetime riders, haters, and future fans to follow and stay up to date with everything Subrosa.

NOSTER III FRAMESimone Barraco Signature modelLike we mentioned in the intro, Subrosa pro rider Simone Barraco’s frame had a few minor changes, but we felt it was enough to give it a new title to avoid confusion in the market. The Noster III frame has been dialed in perfectly by Simone, and it’s everything he wanted in a frame. Now featuring a 75° headtube angle, and now with s-bend chain stays. The chain stay s-bend chain stays create a wider connection with the BB, and offer just a little bit more side-to-side stability. VILLICUS PRIME II FRAMEHoang Tran Signature ModelThe longest running frame in the Subrosa line up just got better; again. Spec wise Hoang wanted more pop out of his bike, so we shortened the rear end to 13.5, 13.25 fully slammed. We also added our new custom Subrosa cast seat stay bridge so you can rock the Subrosa logo loud and proud! SILVA II FRAME

Mark Mulville Signature Model No one flows through trails quite like Mark Mulville, so we wanted his Silva II to have a super clean, flowing look to it. Clean, curved seat stay and chain stay bridges, small drop outs, and a single gusset on the downtube, keep this bike looking extra clean without sacrificing the strength Subrosa is know for. THUNDERBEAST FRAME

Scott Ditchburn Signature Model We completely redesigned Scott’s signature Balum frame, and the Thunderbeast was born. We kept all the features that made the Balum so dependable while removing some of the features that didn’t help with the function of the bike to reduce cost. The ovalized downtube provides dent resistance, the fully custom cast Subrosa wishbone keeps the back end straight, and the thick 6mm drops won’t bend or pinch shut. BIG BITCHIN' CRANKSIntroducing the larger and tougher evolution of our original Bitchin cranks named the “Big Bitchin” cranks. The Big Bitchin cranks utilize a hollow, 22mm, 48 splined spindle, and 100% Death Proof post-weld heat treatment on the arms for increased stiffness and strength.

The custom forged Subrosa shape tubing flawlessly wraps the spindle boss and the square design offers stability on crank arm slides, which was a feature our team insisted on keeping. We also rounded the front of the spindle boss to reduce ankle damage and increased the crank arm angle for a wider stance while riding, and to easily clear any BMX frame.

We decided to go with a 3 piece design for spline drive compatibility and will offer these cranks in a boss less spline drive version as well as a RHD/LHD bossed version.

NICK BULLEN - PIZZA SEAT

Nick Bullen is a simple man. He likes many things, but when he was asked what he would want on his first signature seat with Subrosa he just said pizza.

As you can see we listened. We ordered up the finest pie in the land, complete with Subrosa Brand Secret Marinara Sauce, Subrosa Brand Peperoni, and an all natural Subrosa Brand 69 Cheese Blend.

HOANG TRAN - EASY RIDER SEATHoang Tran found inspiration for his Easy Rider seat in his other favorite 2-wheeled machine: his motorcycle.
