Source: Foodaid Every Year 36 Million People Die
In the Past 10 Years we have lost more than 300 million lives
Sources
• 12 Million Hectares • 60 million ton food lost/ year • 1 Billion People Globally • Sub-continent loses 3500+ • 13+ working hours a day
World Food Challenges
• Water Scarcity a Global Dilemma! • Intensive Water use in Agriculture • Threat to Food Security • Increased fer4lizer demand • Droughts, Femines, Floods
MORE THAN 40% WATER LEACHES WHILE 35% EVAPORATES
Our Quest for Solution
Curiosity
Aab-e-Hayaat
Our Solution Potassium polyacrylate based super absorbent which can retain water up to 1000 times of its own weight up to a year and releases it slowly
according to the need of the soil/crop along with all the essential nutrients required by the crop.
So Far Success:
Our Garage Experiments
Just mix 3g of Aab-e-Hayaat with soil then
no watering for months
Aab-‐e-‐Hayaat Value Proposi4ons
• Saves up to 70% water and 50% fer4lizer
• GHG reduc4on • Has more adhesiveness to soil
than hygroscopic ac4on • Biodegrades into potassium
phosphate in a year • Can significantly reduce the effect
of floods • Just in $2-‐3/kg
AFFORDABILITY
INDIGINOUS
ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY
Compe4tors:
• Drip-‐Systems
• Capital intensive ($200-‐500/ha)/ Aab-‐e-‐Hayaat is $30/ha
• High maintenance/ close to no maintenance
• Requires power to operate/no power
• IoT based or manual / no operator
Compe4tors:
• Hydrogels
• Less absorp4on / high absorp4on • Cannot sustain soil weight / can
sustain • Biodegrades in 6-‐10 years;
Damage plucking crushers /biodegrades in 6-‐12 months
• Hygroscopic > form clumps / adhesive to soil > remain scabered
Only used for kitchen and home gardening/ can be used anywhere

Average farm cost
• Average farm size in Sub-‐con4nent is 15 Ha
• Water of $150/Ha • Fer4lizer consump4on is 200kg/
ha, $4/kg • 4745 workings hours on average Aab-‐e-‐Hayaat can save $2300 on average and more than 4000 hrs of work per year
Implementation Plan
Based on optimizing the product and selecting preparation method suitable
for industrial production along with product testing in lab grown farms
Year 1
2019
Setting up a pilot scale plant based on the model selected to product 3000 kg/year with private equity. it will be testing on actual sites all around Pakistan on private land and agri-departments
Year 2 & 3
Bring a fertilizer company on board and raising investment to install bigger plan with 300 ton/year
capacity. Meanwhile, targeting the international market and setting up local model farms
Year 4
2018
2021
Setting up the plan and reaching out to farmers directly through model farm houses and marketing network of fertilizer groups.
Year 5
2023
Launch of product in the retail market with established production facility,
marketing department, services department, supply chain, and higher
management
Year 6 and 7
2022
Our target is to make an impact on 10 million farmer families cultivating an average of 200 million Hactares of land and growing 1 billion tonnes of food.
While we aim to make another 200 million hectare of land arable and save a 100 trillion liters of water
Target Impact in 7 years
