Pencil glazes create a clean accent on cabinet doors. Done by hand, pencil glazing leaves a soft highlight applied to the profiles and recesses on

doors, not the entire surface. The result is a consistent appearance without the overall toning that hand-wiped glazing achieves.

Solid paints are brushed with glaze to achieve a feathery brushed texture on the entire door, drawer and cabinet frames.

Glazed finishes accentuate the character of a door. Glazes consist of a contrasting color that is applied over a base stain or paint, then

hand-wiped to create hang-up of varying tones in detail areas.
