STURGIS MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM LAUNCHES UPDATED WEBSITE July, 2014 – The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame has just launched a newly re-designed website to better serve its constituents. The new website launched on July 18 th , just in time for the 74 th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The site is online at www.sturgismuseum.com. The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum has been working with Robert Sharp and Associates in Rapid City to develop content and design elements for the new website. “We’re excited to have the new website online,” said Executive Director Christine Paige Diers. “Visitors to www.sturgismuseum.com will find updated photos of many of the motorcycles we have in the museum. You’ll also find information about upcoming events, and about our expansion project,” said Paige Diers. “We know how important it is to have interactive elements and up-to-date information in this virtual age. Our goal is to be more appealing and valuable to users, and I think this new website will realize that goal.” In addition to information about the museum, the site features an online shopping cart where visitors can purchase museum and Sturgis related gift items, raffle tickets, and tickets to the annual Hall of Fame Induction Breakfast. About The Museum: The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame's mission is to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of motorcycling, honor those who have made a positive and significant impact on the sport and lifestyle, and pay tribute to the heritage of the Sturgis Rally. Our vision is to continue as a world-class museum offering comprehensive and educational exhibits and showcasing rare and unusual motorcycles significant to our history and our sport. The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame stands out among other motorcycle museums, in that we will not only document the history of the machines, we will document the history of the people who have shaped and changed the sport and lifestyle.
