European University has been delivering innovative and exible
MBA programs since 1973.
Full-time MBA: a 1-year program divided into 3 academic termsof 10 weeks each with students attending 5 courses per term.All courses are conveniently scheduled in the afternoons andevenings. This enables participants undertaking internshipsor those pursuing their careers full- or part-time to attend classwithout interruption. There are 3 starting dates per year: October,January and March.
Part-time MBA: a 2-year program that follows the same curriculumas the full-time MBA, but coursework is completed over 6 termsof 10 weeks each, with students attending 2−3 courses per term.
Candidates can enroll for EU’s part-time MBA in October, Januaryand March.
Dual MBA: offering the possibility to earn 2 MBA degreesover 1 year, the full-time Dual MBA requires the completionof 5 MBA courses with European University and a further10 with Nichols College (USA), either on-site or via distancelearning. This program starts in October, January andMarch.
Executive MBA: a 15-month program with classes on
Saturdays, 9.00–19.00, and participants follow 3 coursesper term. The program consists of 5 terms of 10 weeks each.There are 5 starting dates per year: October, December,March, May and July.
Cross MBA: a 15-month program. Each of the 15 coursesis completed in 1 month, with 18 hours of on-site seminarsprovided over 1 weekend per month. To prepare for theseseminars participants are supported by 6 hours’ online/ distance learning before the seminar and 6 hours’ online/ distance learning as a follow-up to the seminar. As such, theCross MBA is completed in 15 months. Students can beginthe program any month of the year.

Full-time MBA
The full-time MBA program at European University is a 1-year
program divided into 3 academic terms of 10 weeks each. The rst2 terms cover the core courses that lay the theoretical and practicalfoundations of the study of business and management while the thirdterm offers a specialization in one of EU’s 10 elective majors. Thisenables participants undertaking internships or those pursuing theircareers full- or part-time to attend class without interruption. Theprogram starts in October, January and March.
Part-time MBA
This 2-year program follows the same curriculum as the full-timeMBA, but coursework is completed over 6 terms of 10 weeks each,with students attending 2−3 courses per term. Candidates can enroll
for EU’s part-time MBA in October, January and March.
Dual MBA
This program is offered in collaboration with Nichols College, USA. TheDual MBA presents the opportunity to earn 2 MBA degrees in as little as1 year: complete 5 MBA courses with European University and a further10 with Nichols College in the United States on-site or via distance learn-ing. This program starts in October, January and March.
MBA Second Major Option
After completing a MBA program in a given elective major, studentshave the option to study a further term at EU in a different electivemajor in order to earn a second MBA, thus obtaining 2 MBA degreesin only 4 academic terms.

This major prepares students to manage within an e-businesscontext and responds to the increasing importance of incorporating
technology into the core of every business. Examining a very broad
range of topics, from e-business architecture through to usability, it isnot primarily a technical course, but covers many of the aspects thatmanagers face when working in internet-based environments; be itwithin a start-up or as part of a multinational operation.
Sports Management
The Sports Management major is an interdisciplinary programdesigned to teach management skills such as sports marketingand management, sports advertising, media relations and sportssponsorship programs. The industry offers diverse and dynamicopportunities ranging from involvement in professional sports tomanaging events and private, public and corporate health andtness clubs. Increasing awareness of tness and wellness and the

Academic Information
Course Load
The course load is expressed in credit hours. Each credit hour
represents 1 hour of class per week. Thus a 3-credit hour classmeets 3 hours per week. Preparation time of between 1–1½hours for each credit/hour is assumed.
European Credit Transfer Accumulation System (ECTS)
The student’s academic status can also be expressed by the
use of the ECTS. One standard academic year correspondsto 72 ECTS-credits that are equivalent to 1500–1800 hours ofstudy. ECTS has been developed in order to provide a commoncurrency and facilitate the transfer of students and their gradesbetween European higher education institutions.
Grade Point AverageThe student’s academic standing is indicated by a grade pointaverage (GPA) determined by dividing the total number of
credit points earned by the total number of credit hours of theacademic program undertaken.

Student Services
Personal Counseling
A number of experienced staff members are available to give students
assistance with personal matters if required. If you wish to seekfurther help, EU can arrange for you to see a professional counselor.
Computer Facilities
All classrooms have Wi-Fi access which encourages a high level ofcomputer literacy. Support is provided by networked computers andlaser printers with associated multimedia technology.
Up-to-date software applications including internet, intranet ande-mail are available to all students, who are required to use thesetools to complete their coursework.
Library and ProQuest Online
EU believes that online learning resources are a signicant step
towards the green classroom of the future. All students have full
access to the online library ProQuest and are encouraged to makeuse of this and other scholastic resources on offer. Textbooks are
available to borrow from campus libraries.
Accommodation
EU administration helps students to nd accommodation. The

Admission Requirements
Diploma
Arrange to have an ofcial university leaving certicate or diploma
and transcript(s) sent to the EU Admissions Department. Applicantswho do not hold a university diploma at the time of applying mustpresent an ofcial university transcript or record for the last year of
university study. Transcripts are considered ofcial if they bear a uni-versity stamp and the signature of the university Dean. Academictranscripts should include the university’s contact information. Re-cords must list the subjects taken, grades earned or examination re-sults in each subject, and include certicates or diplomas. If the docu-ments are not in English, they must have a certied English translation
accompanying them.
English Requirements
Unless you are a native English speaker, you must submit a certi-cate of English prociency. This can be an ofcial score on one of
the following: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), In-ternational English Language Testing System (IELTS), CambridgeCerticate in Advanced English (CAE) or alternatively European
University’s English language entrance exam. Please consult the EU
website www.euruni.edu for full instructions on submission of lan-guage exam results.
Recommendations
Submit 2 letters of recommendation from academic and/or profession-al sources familiar with your performance and potential for leadership.Any letter not written in English must be accompanied by a certied
English translation. Applicants are recommended to use the PPI (Per-sonal Potential Index) tool, available at www.ets.org for this purpose.

Essay or Video Essay
Write an essay or record a 1–2 minute video essay*, which will helpthe EU Admissions Committee become acquainted with you, under-stand your motivation to attend EU, and determine how well you canexpress yourself.
The essay should be on one of the following topics:1. Tell us about the most challenging team experience you have had
to date. What role did you play? What did you learn?2. Please comment on a personal failure that had an impact on yourlife and what you learned from it3. What achievement are you most proud of (studies, sports, profes-sional life, etc.)?4. If you could imagine an entirely different life from the one you lead,what would you want to be or do?5. Each of us has been inuenced by people, events, and situations
in our lives. How have such inuences shaped who you are today?
The essay will be evaluated on the basis of clarity, creativity,completeness of response, sentence structure, paragraphing,spelling, grammar, and style.
In addition applicants must satisfy any 2 of the
following criteria:
1. A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 basis (B
average)2. A satisfactory score on the GMAT or GRE3. 2 years or more of professional work experience which may include
military service4. A personal interview with the Dean
