FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS VISITORS HAVE FOLLOWED OUR ARTS TRAIL IN AND AROUND THE LUNE VALLEY, SEEKING OUT THE STUDIOS AND WORK PLACES OF ARTISTS PRODUCING CERAMICS, PAINTINGS, WOVEN/FELTED TEXTILES, SCULPTURE, LINO CUTS AND CREATIVE GLASS. ARTISTS WILL EXPLAIN HOW THEY MANAGE THE CREATIVE PROCESS AND SOME MAY EVEN PROVIDE AN INFORMAL DEMONSTRATION OF THEIR SKILLS (MAYBE REVEALING A FEW SECRET TECHNIQUES ON THE WAY)? EACH STUDIO
WILL HAVE A DISPLAY OF CURRENT WORK FOR VISITORS TO VIEW AND TO PURCHASE. SHOULD YOU WISH TO COMMISSION AN EXCLUSIVE PIECE - JUST ASK! FOLLOWING THE TRAIL WILL ENABLE YOU TO EXPERIENCE THE DRAMATIC LANDSCAPE OF THE BOWLAND HILLS, LUNE VALLEY AND THE THREE PEAKS.
IF YOU DECIDE TO MAKE A FULL DAY (OR TWO) TO VISIT EVERYONE, THERE ARE PLENTY OF VERY GOOD PUBS, RESTAURANTS AND HOTELS FOR FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION
