This year-round guide is organized in such a way that you can drive along the route around Peggy’s Cove, St. Margaret’s Bay, and the Aspotogan Peninsula. GPS coordinates are included in this guide for all Studio Tour locations.

DURING THE STUDIO TOUR

On July 15, 16, and 17, all the artists and galleries along the route will open their doors from 10am to 5pm. Follow the blue lighthouse signs along the route and celebrate art!

The festival will open on July 7 with a gala reception at Shining Waters Marine featuring live musical entertainment, refreshments, a silent auction of art and craft works, and a “Community Canvas” created by attendees.

PAINT PEGGY’S COVE

In this three-day plein air event on the rocks and wharves of Peggy’s Cove, 35 artists create new works. Paintings produced are offered for sale. A children’s art tent offers free creative activities.

STUDIO TOUR

July 15-17, 10am–5pm St. Margaret’s Bay Area

Chart your own free, self-guided tour through quaint communities, coves, and harbours with 36 locations showcasing 60 artists opening their doors to the public. Experience the artistic process at work through demonstrations and exhibits.

ARTS FAIR

July 15-17, 12pm-8pm St. Luke’s United Church, Upper Tantallon

Families and visitors will be treated to the sights, sounds, and creative energy that only a fair can bring, with an array of performers, art and artisan exhibits, workshops, face painting, and tasty treats.
